The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a motorsport endurance series inspired by 24 Hours of Le Mans. ELMS offers its competitors a full season of car racing on some of the best tracks in Europe and is split into four different categories: LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3, and LMGT3. The 2024 season runs between April - October and consists of six races, starting in Barcelona and finishing in Portimão. The series is a natural training ground for drivers wanting to tackle the FIA World Endurance Championship with many aiming to become future world champions.

WEC and ELMS contracts are different, consider it's a different team under the same parent company (Proton)

... I always thought the team "Spirit of..." was named after Le Mans. Only now do I realize that it's Léman, presumably after the area by Lake Geneva. How confusing.
