Time to visit Berk with the How To Train Your Dragons franchise! Hiccup, Stoic, and Valka are dragon riders and have, they’ve made a few mistakes which even the writers didn’t notice. How To Train Your Dragon could have spent a little less time on training dragons and more on training their continuity person. Here are some of the biggest mistakes we noticed in the How To Train Your Dragon Franchise! Do we blame the people who made it? Well yes a little bit, but we respect them and the tremendous effort they have made to make such an inventive series a reality. Still, this series has mistakes notorious in classic animation as well as some logic and continuity issues. No one is perfect! And people make films that carry into their little creations. Generations have loved How To Train Your Dragon but some of you have noticed these errors and you’re not alone, it’s why we’re here. Whether you’re an animation fan, a classic animation lover learning the craft, or just a lover of trivia and goofs in famous films and TV shows, we’ve got you covered. One can argue that the reason why Grimmel didn't drug Toothless is because he wanted a fair fight and wanted to see him struggle while fully conscious

In stoics funeral the person at the back is fishlegs and you can see that gobber was backed up next to valka so he wouldn’t have been able to be seen in the first clip. Grimmel using the “Mind control drug” was introduced way earlier because he talked about it while hiccup invaded his tower or whatever it was, grimmel explained the drug with quite detail about how it was Deathgripper venom and that he used it on the Deathgrippers themselves. Also he used the venom on the Lightfury because if he used it on toothless, toothless most likely would have lost control of all the other dragons and grimmel knew that toothless wouldn’t stop controlling the other dragons because he would be afraid that grimmel would hurt the Lightfury

For the one in the second film about Toothless not being able to fly with Drago on his back, it could be because Hiccup locked Toothless' tail flap so that he actually can fly. Same with the first one. Edit: and toothless does have some control over his movements in the sky. Hiccup is only there to make sure that he can fly.

Remember that Hiccup put a modification for Toothless's tail, you can see it when he turns himself and Astrid in for Eret

@catl3x21 well technically that was all Toothless. Hiccup even asked "What are you doing?" when Toothless powers up to use lightning.

Well what about the Shadow wings? I mean they literally made the large Shadow wing crash into a lake. Although this would be Toothless's doing again since Hiccup didn't know what he was planning.

Let’s be honest… If Grimmel used the drug on Toothless it would end up with the same scenario as in the second film, where Toothless is controlled by the Alpha.

HTTYD 3 made 2 more mistakes, the barf and belch one where one head gasses even tho it wasnt supposed to and the lightfury being able to use fire when she had a mouthlock

You forgot the mistake where grimmel ties Toothless and the lightfury up way faster than he should, so hiccup is probably running at a snails pace

you failed, the cloth that covers Toothless' eyes was torn first on the flag and then mended itself when Hiccup put it over Toothless' eyes.

He didn’t give toothless the drug to get him to go avatar the light fury, and his plan was that when he did he could catch toothless in the action or saving the light fury with the light fury’s own powers(aka the plasma blast) so there is my reasoning for the last one :)

Ngl, there was another mistake in the first film, the eye of Toothless was meant to still be closed while camera panned. 2. Toothless wasn’t supposed to hesitate when Hiccup tamed him. 3. Also, the second tail fin in the 2nd film was semi automatic, meaning Toothless could fly on his own, but only for short periods of time.

lets face it- every film has issues, but we aren't there to see that. We are watching the films for the content and entertainment, who cares about a few mishaps? No offence though, I definitely think this was a good video because it showed us things we wouldn't notice without re-watching a few scenes again, and its incredible to see how many things we can miss because we aren't paying attention to detail.

It's because hiccup is on him. And maybe Drago is touching the foot thingy hiccup uses

But in the series Hiccup literally had to make a different foot pedal so that Stoick could ride him. The foot pedal is specifically made for Hiccup's fake foot so a different person (especially one with a foot size like Drago) wouldn't fit in that slot. The adjustment Hiccup made to Toothless's tail was so that he could glide. It only locked it in one position.

One reason that Grumman drives the light fury is he wanted toothless to follow her so he could end him.

5:36 Drago's foot is gonna hurt because that is exactly the place where Hookfang's horn should be. 6:06 You can actually see the tear on the piece of cloth before Hiccup tears it off so the winds didn't cause it, they forgot to add that detail from the bigger view. Also can you do this type of video for the series? The series have a lot of mistakes and on Google each page with the episode detail actually has a error section of that episode. You missed a error in the third movie. When the gang is rescuing the dragons, Toothless goes past the Light Fury's cage but she is invisible. How? How is she invisible if she needs to fly through her own plasma blast? The cage is too small for that. Also the next time we see her she suddenly has a muzzle on. Did they put it on or did the forgot about it in the previous scene? She can't be invisible with a muzzle so yeah that scene also has a mistake. Also when Toothless tries to impress the Light Fury with his dance moves his feet disappear when he does the umbrella since you can see underneath his wings the shadows but no feet (also where is his tail in this scene? He literally just transformed into an umbrella)

number 6 answer: toothless only needs a foot in the stirrup to fly, he didnt modify it where ONLY he could control toothless

But Drago's foot won't fit. Like in the series Hiccup had to make a stirrup for Stoick to be able to fly Toothless. That stirrup fits his prostetic. You can see that Drago and Stoick has a much closer size in feet.

Supposedly the light fury is the last of its kind but if you look at the frame or shot in the third movie, when the crowd of dragons is shown, you will see two other light fairies supposedly a mother and a daughter or just a child though I don’t think it was a mistake, and if it wasn’t then why is she stated as the last of her kind?

But she is not. Light Furies are not almost extinct like Night Furies. We can actually see another Light Fury before Toothless and his girlfriend jumps off that crystals. You can clearly see the Light Fury fly up and fall back down.

Erm.. The first one is completely wrong. Hiccup kinda had control, hiccup had his leg on the thingy that made toothless fake tail stick out. So, toothless had control of where he was going and what he was doing, while hiccup had his leg on the thing to stick out toothless's fake tail. Yes, there was a scene where 1 leg of hiccups was in a position where he didn't have his leg where it should've been, but look closely. His other leg was still pulling on the thing to make toothless fly. (Also, I maybe wrong, but I'm to much of a fan of httyd to let something about 'Mistakes' slide when they probably wasn't even a mistake. I hear something that doesn't sound right in my opinion, I try to actually say something like all of this that may make the person realize that it was probably not a mistake. Please do more research about these 'mistakes' before posting it.)

Uhh I think I have one, when they released the second movie, when stock dies, and then when you go to race to the edge he is alive somehow and valka wasn’t there, so I’m guessing they meant to realest the race to the edge first and thing the 2nd movie

It's stated that Race to the Edge (RTTE) was before the second movie. Some proof is that Hiccup was still improving on his fire sword and flight suit projects in RTTE.

Number six was an a mistake and any of the fight in the flying ones because we know like smart people that at all you only have to switch it when toothless turns or changes of motion or direction, so yeah the flying ones are cap. Those are not mistakes.

No hate but hiccup was controlling the tail so he Astrid and toothless don’t plummet to the ground and if you look closely drago was using the leg rest that hiccup put which is the only thing which toothless needs to fly also at more ropes more mistakes if you look really closely at the very bottom you can see a small glimpse of the ropes that were trapping toothless at the end of something fishy they could have just moved because they are shown walking at a tear in logic there is a possibility that they were flying so fast it did that or that could be a different part if it in sliding away from logic it’s because he kept wrapping it or it went loose in Vikings are jerks it’s probably because they thought they should just attack and it didn’t need a meeting

U forogt 2 mistakes! 1st. when toothless does the Umbrela Thungy his legs arent there... Haha.... 2nd.. in home coming when dart pounce and rufruner arrived at the village (at their first snow touch ) we can see pouncer as an baby light fury bc its black parts arent the? Haha very funny... than the reapier :) really funny... But i bet non of yall have realized than bc the films are made like that to make sure no one sees it and what matter of they have mistakes? Every film has? There isnt smt on this planet to the PERFECT ✨️ so IT DOSENT RELLY MATTER ! i keed loving it even if it has many mistakes... well idc the most important thing is that To watch the films... no to talk abt Aka This Film has many Mistakes but still there was non of these that i didnt saw i mean i knew them all bye
