Nice car. I have an '06 Z51, M6 that I bought new. I had the windows tinted right after i got it and a couple years later installed a Hurst shifter. I've been thinking stereo and exhaust as well. Thanks for sharing the car looks great. . .

Glad you got the tuner after the intake. I just got a C6 and let my mechanic know it felt like it was losing power. He tested it and said it’s running at around 80% but the engine is getting all of it’s fuel, then he noticed an aftermarket intake (everything else looks stock) and said it’s most likely tripping up the computer by changing the air flow from what it’s tuned to expect. Just ordered a diablo i3 to fix that. Great video and had the same keep it stock thoughts that are starting to change....

I have an 08 C6. You wont "feel" the difference with the Vararam but you will see a difference on a time slip. Its a ram air system and ram air effect wont happen just driving around. I went from a stock system to a Vararam with no other mods and picked up almost .3 tenths and 2 mph in the 1/4. I just installed headers and a catted x pipe with stock npp's. Looking forward to seeing the gains on a time slip. Npp is great with headers, sounds stock closed and awesome open. I cant handle loud all the time. Getting old I guess. I like your C6! I'm planning on a cam and tune this winter.Funny you said the same thing I did when I got mine bone stock. "Im not changing anything".

I just picked up a c6 and the carbon fiber body work looiks like it would work good. Thanks for the post even a while back. The stereo is nice and eventually get one like yours. Subwoofer takes some space though.

My first mod was the vararam intake and I didn't really felt a difference . I then got a fast 102 ported and wow you could feel the power . It almost felt the same as when I got my kooks Lt installed , I would recommend the fast 102 or msd intake manifold as the stock ls2 manifold are very restricted .

Ported heads. Short travel lifters and the Fast intake with med length runners and it will rev to the moon! Reset rev limiter to 7000-7200 rpms.

New ZR1 wheels, fatter tires with white lettering! Would look amazing! Love what you’ve done to the car so far. I’ve had a C4, C5, now lookin for a 2012 C6. Keep up with the awesome vids!

Excellent video. Front and rear cameras might come in handy. Your head unit, I believes comes with video inputs. My Kenwood head unit did and I added camera in front and rear. Carbon Fiber B pillar wrap might be cool. Change out the front Grill with a black Power Coated one.

I've gotta know, how did you manage to keep your car sounding like it still had just headers/exhaust with that stage 3 cam WITHOUT the lope? It sounds amazing and this is exactly what I'd like mine to sound like if I ever decide on the cam route. this is part of the reason why I haven't considered a cam yet. It doesn't sound like there's any chop to yours and it sounds perfect. Let me know thanks!

Thank you for the video! I just got a 09’ C6 a few months after trading in my 03’C5. I’ve never been too much of a car guy by adding a lot of mod’s but after watching your video, you have me very interested. I did begin my mods by installing a carbon fiber spoiler, side skirts, mud lap and front splitter kit. I also did my second mod by installing a blackout kit all around the car with the tail lights, led side skirts, and blackout fog lights. It looks way more aggressive. The stereo system is a major problem, “the sound sucks!” I live in Maryland as well and who do you recommend for installing an awesome system like yours? I will have to take my time for those other modifications on the engine.

One of the main reasons I subbed to your channel is we have pretty much the same needs. Stereo being important. The mods I'm thinking duplicate yours. So, thought you would be a great resource for my build. I just bought mine in June of last year, had fun with it until winter came. Getting itchy to start buying things. Oh, and a bit off topic, but were you happy with the Eagles taking the Lombardi this year? I ask, as I did live in Delaware for a year, and found it interesting to see how diverse fans were in the slower lower. Anyway, have a good one....

Just got one of these yesterday. Picking it up today, watching vids about c6's and the clock is killing me.... time can't fly fast enough till I am behind the wheel of my baby. Just curious, with the 520HP upgrade, what do you figure your 0-60mph time is? @400hp the literature has it at 4.2s, wondering what 120HP does to that? BTW, totally with you on the targa top. I didn't want a convertible, had that in another car and did not like the rag top, found myself with the rag up most of the time... love how the targa top gives you the best of both worlds, this was a central feature I was looking for in my vet, did not even look at any of the non targa models. Thank you.

Just watched your CAM dyno video, amazing results! I have a 2011 GS with the LS3 and I was considering an intake and cam. I have only driven one stage 3 cam car, how is the shake at idle? I don't personally care for the lopey sound, but its not a deal breaker to me, but the shaking is a deal breaker. Does yours shake more than stock?

I'm a mustang guy, I've had 7 in my life. I am 42 now and am thinking of getting a C6 vette. I don't like that mustang went DOHC and as an old school push rod racer I feel ford left me in the past. That sound your vette has with the cam, omg it is awesome. I have no idea what to look for when I'm going to look for a vette. Anyone here that can let me know a bit of the basics when vette shopping? Like what years to look for and which ones to avoid? I'm currently looking at 2008's.

I have the same color with same rims have added a chrome factory grill to my Corvette. Steal have other up grades that I'm looking to do. By the way I'm from Texas they all ask what year is it. I just come out and say it's a First Year Addition and it is 18 Year's Old.But what the hell we show people if they work hard they can own one, Donald.

Think I woulda done a high quality 8" or 10" sub with a box that could tuck away in that corner behind the wheel arch for max space savings but overall sweet setup.

Do you notice a difference replacing the rear speakers? I heard that there’s not any difference and people don’t bother replacing them but I wanted to see how you feel about them. Also did you buy speaker baffles, speaker mounts, or anything else other than the speakers or just buy and have the person installing take care of it? Great vids by the way!
