AE2 can be Complcated but I try my best to explain it for those just getting into the mod :D I will be going over more advanced topics like p2p and subnets in the future videos!

The controller color is changed by xycraft, you can disable the xycraft texture pack to get the RGB color back.

hey Chosen - some stuff u could consider if you wanted to! - i did this in ATM9 so i’m not sure if it applies here 1: you can combine all of those wireless access terminals into one if you think it’d be beneficial 2: the universal press from KubeJS allows a single inscriber to do any of the press patterns - you could surround 1 pattern provider holding all the press patterns with inscribers and it’ll do all 4! 3. Wireless channels… type @ae2 wireless - suuuuuper straight forward 4. one of the mods from ATM9 added “storage for dummies” drives - these allow you to store up to X amount of items and removes the 63 type limitation 5. infinity water + infinity cobble cells 6. you can put a crafting monitor into an Anvil and add individual names to your autocrafting CPUs! blessed video as always! 😎

Chosen I will recommend looking into the mod AppliedFlux, as it has a feature to supply the machines that are connected to the ME pattern provider with power so u don’t get a janky looking setup.

a few qol things I found in this modpack is that for thw processor patterns there is now a universal variant that combines the four into one allowing you to use just one print for all processors if thats what you want to do. Also there is a universal wireless terminal simply by crafting together your terminals and that way it only takes up one curios slot and there is a button for switching terminals of all of your ae2 needs from one

Don’t forget about the extended blocks for AE. Extended molecular assembler, inscriber, pattern provider, disc drive, etc. They are phenomenal

I prefer using the drives for dummies. It does decrease the storage size of your drives, but ignores bytes. That's always been an annoyance of mine with AE. They do cost 2 netherite ingots per drive though

U can combine ur terminals together one by one.

In regular atm9 you can make a universal wireless terminal that combines the terminals and then bind it to e instead of the inventory (when you have interdimentional)

inscriber automation used to be very annoying thing to do, but is is now pretty easy which is really nice! I like flower pattern for crafter things

Loving this series so far, as always. Also you can craft the wireless terminals together into a universal terminal so you only have one to charge and fit in your curios slot. I'm pretty sure the key binds still work to open the individual screens.

with all the resource you have you can make the "dunny storage cells" for ae2 without types restriction... just need a bit of netherit

One thing I discovered in my playthrough is that you can connect an occultism dimensional storage actuator to a Refined Storage system via an external storage node going into the bottom of a linked wormhole (you can probably do that with the actuator itself, haven't tested yet). Not sure if it works with AE2, but if it does, it'd be a very convenient way of managing storage without needing to craft a bunch of drive parts, on top of having free wireless access with the storage accessor item.

been setting up my AE2 system in my game this morning. had actually went the seed essence route to make the presses, also made the universal press. my setup is so much smaller. lol

I started with refined storage because I don't love the finicky startup with AE2 involving the dusts and crystallization and inscribing, but it just looks so good that I'll probably switch

If you are using AE2 on this pack make the AE2 things disk instead of the regular storage disks. The AE2 Thing disks remove the type counter on it.

You don’t need p2p. There is a wireless channel block that works like p2p. You place it on the controller face, click it with the wireless card, then click the other wireless block in your world that you want to send those channels to, then just cable off of that. It saves you from having to run cables from your center area to remote areas.

in the atm modpacks you have the universal press it can do all inscriber crafts that need a press the mod that adds it is kubejs

In ExtendedAE you can make an ME Wireless Connector, and the Wireless Setup Kit really easy, and then you don't have to worry about wiring anything in AE. Just make two ME Wireless Connectors, and connect them. 32 Channels where ever you want to put them.

You can combine the various wireless crafting terminals together into one item in your crafting grid.

@chosenarchitect can you do a video explaining the reasons you'd chose RS or AE2 to help people make their own decision on which to use? I was super confused which storage system was right for me for a long time, but I ended up choosing RS because I prefer the crafting over needing to find the materials in the world, which can take a while. I also prefer using RS because there's no item type number limit per disk, so when I use AE2 I always use the disks that work like RS. I can't remember what mod adds the disks in.

This and the basic dedicated video a little while back have take made this much less intimidating option. I'm very likely to go this route next pack I play.

They have the mod that gets rid of types for drives. I forget what it’s called maybe ae2things but it is relatively cheap only requiring a little bit of netherite 😅

I ALWAYS make sure to use the storage that DOESN'T have the stupid item type limit. It always gets clogged up when NBT stuff gets into the system or if you have some rare items you want to store. I'd rather have a flat number of items allowed to be stored over a limited amount of item types each with a huge amount that can be stored.

Hey Architect. I don't know if you are aware of one fun mod in this pack (As far as I am aware, it is not stated in quest book) That mod being Entangled. It adds only two items: entangled block and entangled binder. Now, what does it do? Well you can "entangle" block using binder (shift+RMB if interact-able like a chest or a machine) and then you can entangle any amount of entangled blocks with it. This way you have access to it's sided at any location (and dimension). Or you can go like me and entangle twenty blocks to a dynamic tank valve and pump all my brine without pipe mess (or pipe capacity limits) Now, where it really shines is with combination with Hyperbox (My ultimate one block ore duplication setup below if you want to witness insanity) Hyperbox is a beast on it's own. I have 11x11x11 fission reactor for producing nuclear waste. 50fps inside, 117fps outside. Best part is that it's dirt cheap. 4 ender pearl, 4 obsidian and a chest. (binder is more expensive - needs a whole one diamond!!!) PS.: If your expensive machine gets lost because hyperbox got destroyed, no worries. Just create new one and name it exactly the same name. It will be back. (Name == dimension ID) *My setup goes somewhat like this (yes you can place them inside each-other, wireless power is required - Flux Network for example): Hyperbox { 12x mekanism 5x ore duplication (one line for each ore) 12x (4 entangled block for liquids for ore processing) 12x hyperbox for liquid production { sulfuric acid, water, hydrogen chloride, oxygen } 1x hyperbox for sulfur production (sulfuric acid) { entangled storage controller to spread sulfur amongst other 12 hyperboxes } }

All I got to say is I love the look of the world but I feel like a "cyberpunk" aesthetic would require a bit more of them neon colors ya know, it look more like Futuristic Steam punk atm. (still look great tho)

the ME Controller always confused me since i never got into it. is it each block of the multiplock has 32 channels per face? Or is it only each cardinal direction has 32?

honestly the old AE inscriber nonsense was probably 80% of the reason i avoided the mod.
