heads up... crushed deep slate and crushed blackstone are a thing and can be seived... ink sacks can pop from blackstone :) so no complicated squid catching platform required, just pound together a few blackstone pebbles you got from all that cobble collection and sieve away :) bonus if you get lucky with some ancient debris in the process lol

The quest for silent gear gives you a blaze rod for sword blueprint. Then using the energy condenser you can make more especially if ender Pearl's are laying around from other farms hint hint

Oh no, those poor chickens! Using a knife will guarantee feather drops, yes. But using some force gems to get force shears will let you get feathers without killing any chicken. (So really you get more each visit, as you can shear ALL your animals without needing more breeding.)

Agronomic sourcelink can generate source when you're twerking near Ars trees. The thing is that you can place some kind of block two blocks above saplings and twerking will still generate "growth ticks" but saplings will never turn into trees. So, you can place 9 saplings and 9 Agronomics and fill source jars ridiculously fast.

although you can repair hammer by ProjectE, but Ars has "crushing" spell that can break cobble into gravel and etc. do this by the book may be slow, but use mutiple turret with AOE will be insane

Can it can crush the compressed blocks? Because otherwise its not better than just using hammers for now.

I usually go for the crafting station and 4 double chests one on each side of it, sunk into the floor for early game crafting and storage as the station has access to all 4 of the double chests

For Ars Nevau - the `program` starts with a `trigger` then an `action` then a `modifier` or `modifiers`. I think that's a bit easier to follow than how it was explained here :)

Silly me for not thinking "Cascade." I was looking into how Ars and even to some degree Occultism is required (possessed hoglins drop smithing templates) for this pack and had no idea how to get that first ink sac (EMC the rest but you still need that first one!) This could not have come at a better time! Bless you!

My early storage system always seem to be rftools if it is in the pack. Now I wish I had remembered that Ars has a storage system. I always forget that one. Haha.

i don't like the rf tools crafting terminal, the integrated dynamics and ars Nouveau one is much more intuitive

The storage scanner is a bit weird on the interface, but very very powerful and ridiculously early game. It also uses so little power that you basically don't need automation. A generator and a hopper full of coal will comfortably last you until the powerful storage mods become available.

Ars is my all time favorite mod. Every pack it's in draws me to it. Yet I have never setup a storage system like this. Thanks for the help! I really hope you get into occultism soon, it's another favorite

Maybe he's referring to it needing to be in loaded chunks, which means if you're not in a skyblock pack and want to use it when out exploring you'll need a chunk loader.

No disrespect meant to other creators, but I love the thoughtfulness and tips you include in your ATM videos the best! When ep1 came out, I scoured curse forge to get started on my own, and am more or less following along for the first time (other series I seem to start when youve already finished the series). Great job! AE scares me, dont know if I will be brave enough to mess with it, will probably depend on how friendly you make it.

Don't forget you can change the color of the gem in your scry eye (and any of the other spell tools) by changing the color of the spell that you inscribe on it

New to your channel. Definitely subscribed. I haven't done a skyblock since FTB. wanted to follow along and do everything you are doing. I am watching and pausing after each thing you do to re create it. next video will be a real challenge...i peeked ahead. I hope it's not too complicated. I have not used very many mods before. Thanks for explaining as you go.

- crafts 8 barrels - places one - breaks one - doesn't pick it up - places seven - wonders that he only crafted 7 of the barrels - crafts one more, and now had 9 instead of 8 barrels - the first barrel is now laying on the ground the whole time

I gotta say, I don't like ars nouveau much because it feels like a tech mod, but what you did there with the eye and interaction glyph was very smart, I never thought it could be used like that.

Hey Chosen just a heads up, I tried Integrated Terminals for storage and found it so amazingly unoptimized that having 16 Sophisticated Diamond Chests was enough to kill my TPS. And I have a i7 13700KF so near top of the line CPU. Had that many cause chest wall and bulk upgrades. This was in normal ATM9 about a month ago, so COULD be different but I would test before deploying to main base... It sucks because Its an Amazingly Good system, better than AE2 in a lot of ways. And even more powerful TBH... Love the little dragies to bits, super happy to see them get used.

I actually recommend using the sophisticated chests. Cause double chests have double the slots and uses upgrades for only 1

Hey mate I made a traditional mob farm on this mod and for some reason it isn’t spawning any mobs I have made the farm so many times it’s burnt in my head how to make it is there something in the pack that’s stopping farms from working I am getting more mobs spawning on a dark platform is there a reason why

Did you maybe use a mega torch or anything from the torchmaster mod on your islands? These things can have quite the perimeter...

@@alanmadden3558 A few ideas off the top of my head: - Check the biome you are in, i made some of the Islands from ars noveau, and one is a mushroom fields biome. -difficulty peaceful? That is one i fell for several times -maybe have a look at the mobgrinder mod, with that you can make cursed chicken feed. If you give that to a chicken, it lays a rotten egg, which converts dirt to dreadful dirt, which makes hostile mobs spawn. A bit of tinted glas around makes everything nice and dark Edited to add: now it happened to me as well. Drats.

AE isn't hard to get into either with mystical agriculture (and even though Jardon's chat told him Integrated Dynamics was going to be super difficult so he didn't go that route, all you really need is the saplings which you can get by sifting moss)
