Hi Evelyn! I'm actually in the Australia and because it's summer here, that's why our stores have all the new furniture right now! So my video is like a sneak peek for the US as you will see some of the furniture or similar ones closer to the 4th of July! I couldn't find the exact sectional online, so I linked a similar one that was available. The one in store was about a medium firm, not hard, but you didn't get swallowed by the seat when you sit down. There was a pretty good amount of padding on the arms too, overall it was a really nice couch and the extra storage ottoman was an awesome bonus as well! I hope that helps! OMgosh! You are lucky to have all this good stuff at your Costco. I live in Los Angeles. CA a d we have very little furniture at our Costco's.

Wow, my Costco (South Florida) doesn't have any of this furniture in the store...online its usually more expensive also...too bad as I'm furniture shopping now

Hi Shelby! Costco in the US tends to get a big shipment of furniture just before Christmas and right before the 4th of July, which is why you're probably not seeing any furniture in your local store. But here in Australia, as it's summer right now, we just got a bunch of furniture, which will be a preview of some of the items that you will see in your local Costco around June this year. As for Costco Online's prices, they are almost always higher, outside sales prices, because they already include shipping costs. I hope this helps! And thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

Hi! Usually a few times each year, my local Costco's bring out a bunch of furniture and turn the center of the store into a display area. Hello Jill, thank you for this video. I'm a little confused. The Northridge upholstered bed that was shown first in the video is not showing up when I search online. I called the Costco in my city and they said it's not in the store. So, can I purchase the bed?

Hi! The Costco that I shop at is located in Australia, so if you're in the US, they only seem to have a Northridge vanity at this time. Because our seasons are reversed (it's summer here right now), we tend to get some items before the US. So, it may appear in your store later this year around July, as Costco US tends to get another large shipment of furniture around that time. I thought that that might be one of the reason for the felt and I think that it might also be for electronics because brands, like Puma, are starting to line the electronic pockets on backpacks with felt now as well. Hi! Unfortunately, Costco doesn't offer international shipping at this time other than the US Costco website will ship certain items to Canada. Depending on which country you live in, Costco may have an website that offers online shopping for certain products, like they do here in Australia. You can find out this information by going to Costco.com, selecting the "US" drop down menu at the top right hand corner of the screen. This will cause a drop down menu to appear listing all of the countries that Costco is currently available in. Depending on the country, it may have an online website with products that can be purchased that way. If it does, the online prices will already include shipping. You will then need to sign up for a Costco membership, which you can do online, if Costco Online is available in your country, and then use that membership number, to create an online account in order to make a purchase. You will eventually need to go in-store to get a physical card with your picture. I hope this helps! And thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

Hi! Costco, here in Australia, still manages to be cheaper than buying the same things at a grocery store. If you're comparing prices to the US, Australian prices already include taxes and then there's the exchange as well. So the same products would be much cheaper in the US, than here. From my experience from shopping at Costco when we used to live in California, I found that quite a bit of the products there were cheaper than places like Target, Walmart, etc when you look at the per unit price. That's probably the best way to shop at Costco because, while the overall price might be higher, if the unit price is cheaper compared to other stores, then Costco would the best bargain. Hi! I miss shopping at Trader Joe's! You definitely get a lot for your money there and they have so many unique products too! When we lived in California, I would do part of our shop at Costco (diapers were the best deal there) and the rest at TJs. Even when it was just the 2 of us in Canada, I would go every few months to Costco for things like toilet paper, eggs, paper towel, etc. But I would stick to regular grocery stores for our main groceries because it didn't make sense for us to buy in bulk, just like with you. I looked further into the website and their mattresses are only Australian designed, but assembled in China! The designed part through me off and I thought that ment they were made here. This fabric on the upholstered queen ( short railed display bed) is good quality. The bed is nice quality furniture. The Ashley bed is junk however... Mattress is MADE IN CHINA and terrible, not a good choice. Lastly, the chest & nightstand are just OK for the $. Visit a furniture store, better quality furniture for your money and they will provide inevitable warranty work with this quality product. Louis is pronounced lou'Ey

Hi! Thank you so much for all the information! That's nice to know about the fabric on the bedframe! With kids, that's pretty much my first thought with anything that we can buy! That's interesting about the Ashley bed because it felt pretty solid! But if it doesn't hold up, then what's the point of buying something like that? You're the 3rd person who's pointed out the Koala mattress and I ended up looking further into it on their website. The box and website state that they are Australian designed and that through me off. The mattresses are designed in Sydney according to the website, but assembled in China!, but there's one mention that they materials are from China! I'm going to update the description on my video, so others are aware of this! Thank you! Are there any furniture brands/store that you recommend? We will actually be purchasing new beds for our two oldest children sometime in the next few months and I'm on the lookout for something that will last more than a year. Hi Paul! The Costco that I shop at is located in Australia and they show kilograms and centimeters on our products here. I try and always make sure to put the conversions to pounds and inches on the bottom left hand corner of the video as I know that the US uses different measurements and even people in other countried, like Canada, (I'm Canadian) prefer those measurements as well. Also, if you see a product that you really like, but it's not available in your store right now, this is because Australia tends to get things earlier than the US due to our seasons being opposite (it's summer here right now). I wish I could have watched this, but I cannot. The reason is that the camera swings rapidly up, down, side to side, and around. People's heads don't swivel rapidly like that Miss. If you are going to film things, try for normal movement i.e. slow and steady. For me, I rapidly became nauseous barely 3 minutes in and had to stop. It's motion sickness caused by swinging the camera around. Think of how a movie is filmed and try for that. Edit out the rapid camera movements and you'll have a better video. Great subject, but poor execution.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! I will definitely try and be more conscious of how I move the camera in future videos! I think the part that may be what bothered you, was when I was trying to show the box for the fabric bedframe at the beginning of the video. Unfortunately, I couldn't move the box and was forced to turn the camera so the image wouldn't be upsidedown. Next time I'll make sure to cut out the movement so that it's not so jarring for viewers. The part that you were referring to was a bit tricky to film because the box was too heavy for me to move so that I could show the bed, and unfortunately, I then had to turn the camera to show the box. I will try to avoid those movements and keep the camera steadier in future videos. Cheers! Jill
