glossier foundation: I was surprised at how decent the foundation still looked at the end of the night. not as much wear as a lot of others I’ve tried - but still looked a little worn off on my nose
haus labs concealer: definitely creased throughout day, similar to others I’ve tried. I’ve been using this more this week and it’s grown on me a lot! I usually set it lightly to help with creasing
merit shadow: doesn’t crease a ton on me, stays well. just keep in mind this lighter shade will blend in a lot lighter, so you may need to build it up
mascara: no smudging or flaking! the curl lasted ALL DAY
liquid blush: the wear time is IMPRESSIVE considering this is a liquid! I just love this blush
highlight: the glow lasted well - definitlely more obvious that there’s glitter in sunlight

I've tried those lashes at least five times and each time its like oh it's on let me squeeze it then it falls and I lose it. So no each day it doesn't get get easier.

Jessica u haven't tried RMS blushes???? Girl once u find a good color u will never go back .....they are absolutely incredible....it has a slight bit of glow.....u wont even have to use Highlighter!!!❤❤❤❤

EDIT: Best Colors for our skin tone are crystal slipper, French Rose, and Mai tai...... Crystal slipper is my fave though.....it's almost a bronzer/blush combo......and now that I'm thinking about it ......those are my favorite colors but truly EVERY SINGLE SHADE IS STUNNING....I LOVE THEM MUCH MORE THAN THE BM blonzers too❤❤

The thing about 90% of cream eyeshadows is they DO. NOT. LAST. and I wish more influencers would talk about that/report on that. For my money, pun intentded, Colorpop's highlighters like lunch money are INCREDIBLE one-and-done eyeshadows that last for a long time, and they're around $12 so super affordable

FYI: You bought the refill pack of lashes. The OG set comes with the applicator. They used to all come with an applicator so I have 10! Then they came out with refills only. Also, I only wear them with mascara. I feel like the mascara helps them hold but they hold on naked lashes too. So easy, so comfortable. Gorgeous makeup today!

I broke down & bought that Natasha Denona, I Need A Nude pallet, I LOVE it!! It's gorgeous! I've used every shade & actually use it every day, which is basically unheard of for me. There really hasn't been a pallet that was ever exactly what I personally wanted..until this. I can literally throw every other pallet. It's truly my perfect pallet. ✔️ Great formula ✔️ Perfect color story, at least for lighter skin tones. ✔️ It has easy day to night shades / versatility. ✔️ It has a deep shade I can wet to use as eyeliner. So it eliminates the need for an additional product, separate eyeliner.

I tend to steer away from chunky glitter powder eyeshadows too! My gut knows they are pretty (I could swatch them for days) but it also knows that I won't enjoy the fall out on my face. I like the delicate and seamless look of smooth shimmery eyeshadows more, AND the application experience. 😄

I literally JUST bit the bullet yesterday to get the I Need a Nude palette! I didn’t want to spend that much on a palette, but MAN, I’m glad I finally did! 😆 The formula is SO easy to put on, and it’s beautiful! If you’ve ever wanted to try Natasha Denona but didn’t want to pay that amount, I think it’s totally worth it!! 😍

Out of curiosity, do you have the going coconuts pallete from colourpop, and if so, is it similar enough that you can make the same looks? I have going coconuts and really want I need a nude, but worried they’ll be so similar it won’t be worth it😅

@@alicianichols6757 I’m sorry, I wish I had that palette to give you an answer on that, but I don’t have Going Coconuts. 🙁 I do have a few Colourpop palettes, though, and I can tell you that they don’t compete to Natasha’s formula. I did look up the palette you mentioned, and it does look like a similar color story, but I think you would get a lot more looks out of the Natasha one, especially bc you have a peachy color in there, and just more colors in general. Lol. Plus, some of her glitter shades give that wet look, if you like that at all! I thought Colourpop’s glitters were good till I tried these. Lol. Hopefully that helps at least a little bit! 😊

The founder of RMS is so beautiful and I love her reels. The one I specifically love 💗 is the one where she’s talking about how she would do all the Victoria Secret Models makeup and she wanted to create a “glow within product” not a highlighter. She decided to call it a “luminous balm” and she applies it to her cheek bones and I love when she said….everyone tried telling me to put it in a different component like a squeeze tube and she said no no this is a potted luminizer! I had to make a return at Sephora today and ended up buying one of the Merit eye shadows. I got the shade Midcentury, which is a beautiful warm brown. I’m Mexican-American with an olive skin tone, and it looks so nice! That perfect simple eye color that’s just a notch or two above my natural lid color, so you can tell something is definitely on the lid without it being too strong. I’ve never purchased anything from Merit before, and I have to say I was impressed! 😊

I LOVE ,LOVE,LOVE ❤the Merit eyeshadows !!! Yes , you’ve got to work quickly , and recommend doing one eye at a time due to the lack of playtime, BUT 😁for mature hooded & creepy eyelids this product is a godsend 👏🙌👍!! It’s so nice to be able to line my lower lash line and not ever have to worry about it smudging throughout the day….PERIOD🥳🤩!!! Merit totally hit the right demographic !! After purchasing and wearing “Studio & Social” , I then immediately bought the remaining colors !! YES , I’m gushing over this new release, bcuz the struggle is real with mature eyes 👏👏!!

It’s Friday, baby!!! The only thing that makes it even better is having you upload a new video!! Woohoo! Then to add that it’s a Sephora haul!!! I’m heading there tomorrow!!!! Hitting both Sephora and Ulta. It’s been one of those weeks where makeup therapy is in order. Such a week that my own big haul may occur! Shew! Teaching isn’t what it used to be. Couple that with a sinus and double ear infection and you have a recipe for….well…let’s just say I need makeup!!! I have to admit that I am ready for the holidays! I bought it on launch. The shimmers are superior compared to many of my palettes. I didn't know if I'd get much use out of it because it's so neutral, but I find myself reaching into it for the shimmers even when Im trying to use something else.

I've been really loving the Mauve Glow in the Bare Minerals Highlighting Blush. It's definitely more impactful on my fairer skin, so I can't go crazy, but it's so pretty.

I love the Merit eyeshadows! I have midcentury and social and I usually have shadow crease on me and these don't. I love them as a one shadow look or with a shimmer on top. So good.

i have hack for dried out mascara that ive been using for years, because i really try to use up as much of my makeup as possible before having to replace it, add some off your eye drops into the tube miix it up really well and just leave it for a few days and then its good as new, this will work for any of your liquid eye and brow products and even with some liquid lipsticks, you can also use contact solution but i find the eye drops work slightly better because they're slightly less liquidy, hope this helps someone

I could not get the merit eyeshadow in brun to work. It was crumbly and patchy and I felt like I had to put on multiple layers to get it to look even. The reviews seem to indicate that the lighter colors performed better.

The RMS sunscreen reminds me a bit of tone-up cream. It looks like it has a milky base that smooths out your skin. It looks beautiful on you! I'll definitely have to look it up! :)

I had always wanted to purchase The Glam Palette from Natasha. I have about 6 of the minis. I finally had enough points on Ulta to get it. At the same time, the new I need a nude palette came out and I thought it was softer in colors. I wore for about a week and returned it! I was sad, but the shades were just not for me. They were too cool tone. I’m warm tone and exchanged it for the glam palette. I have been using it for 2 weeks straight. Absolutely love it.

I seem to be about the only one who has not had good luck with the Merit eyeshadow. I've tried it with and without primer, with a brush and my fingers and no matter what I do it applies patchy! Enjoy your videos! :)

Me too! I use Social every day. I top It with the Dior Beige Mitzah and it’s just gorgeous! I’m like I could just use this and get rid of others and be happy. I also have 2 other shades and just love them all. They are so unique.

I love the Merit eyeshadow. I have two of them,midcentury and vachetta. It’s pricey for just one eyeshadow but I think it is worth it. Very blendable.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to buy the I Need a Nude palette. It's so pretty and would suit me so well, but I don't think I'd reach for it over Retro or over a single shadow. Where I'm at is I kinda still want it but I probably won't buy it. Glad I got to see you try it, though, and I'm looking forward to hearing your updated thoughts on it in a speed reviews when you've had the chance to play with it a bit more.

Yesss Jessica! I’ve been waiting to see you try the “Simple Kind of Life” quad from GXVE. I figured you’d like it. Idk why ppl rated all of them so poorly because i LOVED them! I did have all 4 at one point but i decluttered and only kept “Just A Girl” & “Simple Kind of Life”and they’re perfect one and done quads for work for me ❤

Hi Jessica, since I know you love drugstore makeup also, I had to tell you about a new brow product I randomly picked up. Wet & Wild Ultimate Brow Maximizer Powder and Gel Duo. The powder is great but even better, the gel is a firm hold that does not budge. If you haven't tried it, you should!

I snagged the give quad (simple kind of life) from Marshall’s for 7.99!! It was such a good deal. I use it all the time, especially when I have an all sparkle plette

i also have a hack if you need help applying eyeliner without tugging on the eye, i usually do one coat of mascara and use my lashes as my guideline then just flick it up to start my wing then join it from the bottom and fill it in...i do this with my eyes open and i dont tug on my eyes ever, and my wings match every time, then i go in with my second coat of mascara, this makes a good hack for eyeliner but also a great hack to get your natural lashes to look as good as falsies, because the first coat dries completely by the time you do your eyeliner the second coat has a great base to sit on, and it gives the lashes perfect hold and volume they look like falsies but in the best way ( i also have very fine lashes that wont curl and also very hard to get mascara to grip on them, so the fact that i can get my lashes to look like falsies with this trick is really proof of how well it works)

I LOVE my platinum-colored natural hair and never got compliments on my hair for all the years I colored it. To each her own -- and I'm glad I decided to stop coloring. Best decision ever, for me! :)

Not being able to see out of one eye is a legitimate beef. 😂 I have that same problem. I can’t see out of my left eye not even a little bit, so I always mess up my right eye.

Those lashes! I just tried them this past weekend myself and it was a hot mess. I liked the thought of being able to do just the edges and stick on. I found it difficult to get them to be comfortable when applied. My vanity looked like it was covered in little spiders because I had them all over haha
