Yes, Tim ... when the wipers are turned on the headlights automatically turn on for the XL, which I have now.

Thank's Tim...aways a great video ! ...On the Maverick, an auto dim rear view mirror would be nice, as well as a 6 way power adjust seat for the passenger...should be standard on the lariat package...

Awesome video. I'm going to try the windshield washer headlight thing. Also I bought an XL, but now I wish I bought the lariat. With all the standard things it comes with I believe I would have paid the same price but got more.

Great video! Which year Maverick are you using? If there is a difference year over year, is there a chart that identifies each based on the model year?

@SamSpritzer This video I based it on the current model out, 2024. But the safety features should be the same for 2022 and 2023 model year.

In CA, headlights are legally required when wipers are in use. So... it seems likely that this would happen automatically in the XL too. I have the XLT so I can't verify this.

That is a common law not just in CA. That being said, being in compliance with law may not require manufacturers to add it to the vehicle. Drivers are ultimately responsible for compliance and a lot of cars don’t have that as a feature.

I tend to think of AWD as a safety feature.

I took delivery of XLT May 204 with 360 package and reallized it did not have adaptive cruise control : Is it possible to add this feature

@normancoelho no from a dealer. There are some doing it, but it's not advised. Adaptive Cruise Control is only available on Lariat.

Is the UGLY Grill design part of the Safety feature to scare off children!?! Kidding aside, it would be great if you cover WHY the Front Collision IIHS tests only gave Maverick an "Acceptable" score!?
