Back by popular demand, we revisit the high streets of Britain in a quest to locate the Wetherspoons pub. This week has some tricky rounds, but if you have particularly good eye sight and a bit of persistence and patience, you may just end up with a perfect score..
TO PLAY ALONG: Play your round, put your marker down, then switch tabs back to KZfaq to watch my attempt and the result. This way you don't ruin the game or the video!

As an American who is quite a lover of all things Brit, this one made me laugh out loud! Ive got the idea, but whats “putting on the lottery”? And what are fruit pastels? Its amazing
@trainingben.
@trainingben. 3 жыл бұрын
@@HuckmanT So, "Putting on the lottery" refers to the weekly (I think it's still weekly) national lottery. You could enter it from most local shops like this. If you really don't know what a lottery is: They draw a few numbers, if those match the ones you played with. You win. "Fruit pastels" you could probably guess, are a type of candy or sweet. So overall, the comment was quite funny as yes it did remind me of when I was young I wouldn't be surprised if a similar scenario played out when I was a child.

Little tip for the ones with phone numbers visible - the Broadstone one had an "01202" number clearly visible. Even if you don't know where that's the area code for, you can at least narrow it down. The area codes that haven't changed much since pre-1994 were mostly done using the letters on the keypad. In this case, "20" indicates "BO" or "CO", so the first places I looked were Bolton, and Colchester (whose area codes are 01204 and 01206 respectively). A little more thinking and I would have twigged Bournemouth. Hope that helps for future searches!

I just played your challenge link and then watched the video. Seems Geoguessr dropped the ball on this one, as I had different starting locations from you. My score was just under 16000. The Raven - placed me on the opposite side of the road so I was able to read the little blue sign pointing towards Aintree. Nailed that one. The Hat and Feathers - placed me in front of the gates that read "HA WAY THE LADS". Could not see the Seaham sign, but there was a transit van parked behind the gates with a Peterlee address which was a big clue. 5 miles away. The High Cross - placed me so I could not read Jubilee Square. Saw the bin though, so spot on. The Blackwater Stream - like the first round placed me on the opposite side of the road. The M&S did not have the barriers around it and there were leaves on the trees. Spotted Broadstone but guessed near Peterborough. The Captain Alexander - was a complete kick in the teeth. Interior view of an upstairs room decked out for a wedding. No clues whatsoever. Went for London, F's in chat. Love your content. A++++ in chat.

The Liverpool one at the end, the yellow M on the bus stop stands for Mersey travel who coordinate the bus service here, and the big black building is the Liverpool museum, right by the docks

Hi Tom. I used to think GeoGuessr was just for nerds but then I found your channel. I have been loving your videos and just recently decided to try a round myself. I’m now in love with it and just got my best guess of 1.5 miles in Hong Kong. Thank you so much for everything 🙂

Tom, your instinct is hilariously good. I'm from Formby and the phone code 0151 stops the town before and changes to 01704 at Formby, good showing my little Ronald Reagen- I was wondering if you'd get there!

the UK universities map is quite fun if you've not done it, similar to this in that there's often good information and if you can crack the city/town it'll be easy to find the spot, but some of them are really hard to work out even if you have the name of the uni ha ha
