For those unaware cm koseman on his channel did a stream less than two weeks ago,he's currently working on a reworking of all tomorrow's and said he is 16 chapters in,he said the eta is hopefully a year and even read a chapter about the worms( he says The Qu's full name which is the Quhanim I believe I had no idea) hes introducing new species and honestly it seems to be shaping up to be something amazing.

I think it's so interesting that the gap between the two Qu invasions (150 million years) With all of its history is still smaller than the period of time dinosaurs exsisted on Earth (165 million years). It really puts things into perspective.

I love the poetic justice of the Qu being overthrown by a species they spent millions of years dissecting and degrading. The cherry on the cake, it took the Qu a thousand years to fully subjugate the Star People, but the Asteromorphs beat them in a hundred years. They got the better of them ten times faster.

The only reason why people see Warhammer as a joke is because of the memes but if you read the novels they are one of the scariest things because the eldritch horrors in the Warhammerverse are unexplainable.

Those million years of gaps between the respective species joining the Empire. Imagine all the history there - except you can't, because it's such a vast time. But think, if you will, about all the friendships between individuals of the species. Just two short lives connecting, lost in the millions of years, but the thought is so touching for some reason.

I love how this ended with a good note, After being changed genetically and physically in every way and millions of light years apart. They finally defeated and enslaved their old captors and found their original home planet but not resembling anything who they once were.

I would have imagined a different transformation for the colonials. Imagine if their retained sapience merged, becoming a living planet, something like Marvel's Ego. Potentially the most powerful and advanced entity of the story. It would be a fitting outcome for the colonials, who were the showed the most valor against the Qu, and sufferred in the most intentional and profoundly sadistic way. It would have been a cool concept to see that emerge as a single cosmic being.

As a huge all tomorrows fan, I gotta say, this was good enough that I wasn't even sure if it was made by the original author or if "BEWARE the QU" was that talented source. From what I gathered this was crafted from BTQ. Aside from my gratitude and appreciation for further content comparable to the original text, I must give props and praise to BTQ for such stellar storyline elaboration. Very talented stuff here!

The one thing that the book seems to overlook is that humanity has a deep-seated sense for revenge. My working theory is that one pocket of unmodified humans eventually worked out how to defeat the Qu. They hacked into their mind-link network, recalled the Qu to one location, and slaughtered the whole species.

These wouldn’t have been “unmodified humans” but rather the highly modified and sophisticated Asteromorphs, who would definitely have had the direct civilizational memory (and the desire for revenge) to work out how to defeat the Qu.

not really revenge. The amount of time between the Qu coming down on humanity and the new humanity of Astromorphs is so vast, revenge doesn't really make sense. I mean, do YOU blame that one dinosaur for wrecking havoc on our small mammalian ancestor's life when it devoured her whole nest of babies? Astromorphs knew about the Qu and history, they knew the Qu were very likely still around, so they just kept cautious and focused on advancing as a race.

Well done, BTQ. Earmarking the years really helps to understand the flow of evolutions. As someone already pointed out, the Qu invasions were 150mil yrs apart, less time than the dinosaurs spent upon the Earth, and as you said, all of this is still only a drop of water in the endless ocean of time. I really enjoyed this, thank you.

This series has enchanted me and has comforted me from my own mental illness it has not only been an escape but I've sleeked help and and doing better after months of treatment beware of the q has opened my perspective and im on so thankful of the universe and the the unborn soul with that we all carry, time will never end but there is always beauty in the world lives will be born and collectively. The fact that we are sapient and have our own thoughts is a miracle from the universe its ability to ponder upon itself. Everyday I am thankful to be alive.

This makes me feel depressed.. Just so much death and sorrow, suffering. The entirety of the video, I keep thinking about us, humans, and then the now (in the video) of what became of us, how we became abominations :( the art style captures the theme of these horrers so well

This story makes me profoundly sad. Imagine what the Star people could have achieved if left to their own devices. Imagine what wonders humanity could have had as its legacy. Now imagine some bugs with a god complex and unreasonably extreme levels of skill in genetic manipulation rocking up and deciding a whole planet deserves to be a sewage filter

And yet think about the happy times shared by the various human descended species. There were literal hundreds of millions of years for these people to live, make friendships, form loving relationships, eat, dance, sing, philosophize, all the things humans do. Even in the darkest of times, humanity creates joy in small pockets.

@TheTdw2000 and on top of that, even this story filled with half a billion years of interspersed suffering, it still has a happy ending with us continuing on (and even if we didn't, we're all descendents of this universe no matter what species you are). All goes around and around, and it's completely unknown if there was ever an "actual beginning" or if there will ever be a true end. Big Bang or Heat Death be damned; fight me science nerds.

I have to tell you that this was the first video of yours that i watched, and I put it on as i was going to bed. Now what you need to know about that situation is that I tend to listen to videos in my bed from my PC located in my livingroom. So I could not see my screen or read anything about your video, furthermore, I had never heard of no tomorrows. I had just gotten it in my recommended section so many times that I thought... Why not. I cannot tell you how bizarre it is to listen to when you have never read or even considered the genre of speculative evolution. I could not figure out for the life of me if I was listening to someone's personal dnd lore bible or what. I think it was the bizarre nature of that experience that got me hooked, cos all i was thinking about was "wow, this is so wildly creative" without thinking about it as anything other than a bunch of interesting ideas strung together by some guy with a youtube channel. anyway, all that to say that i really appreciate this video and your channel! and im listening through the other audiobooks too

The actual author is doing that himself he's doing a reworking of the book and is going to expand and introduce new species.

@@valmirjunior656 maybe I'm not sure but I saw it on his KZfaq channel cmkosemen under the live section one of his streams he did a month ago called lazy surprise weekend stream mostly him not talking about all tomorrows but at 55 mins in he mentions the update about the reworking and reads a chapter about the worms

Ah I never mentioned it in the video, but this relates to an ebook called 'All Tomorrows' by C.M. Kosemen. There are links to both the book and my 2 hour audiobook version in the pinned comment above if you're interested. It's a weird and wild ride, but one you'll be glad you took.

Part of me wonders if The Qu specifically and purposely hunted down and dominated any civilization that had discovered and utilized Genetic Manipulation. It reminds me of, oddly, World of Warcraft lore. Long story short, there is a cosmic demonic force in the lore that invades and destroys any world that uses Arcane Magic. Arcane Magic would be playing a similar role in the World of Warcraft universe as Genetic Manipulation in All Tomorrows.

Wow! Beautful! This really blew my mind there are so many implications to derive from this-about our origins, past, present and future. Everything is cyclical. Only the One, the All, the Source of all Consciousness is forever. Only it has seen and felt every single thing that has ever taken place. Every new civilization, every war, even every single individual's ups and downs. Because It is who lends sparks of its Consciousness so that we can be what we are, experience, learn and return to our source, to our full capacity. We are connected by Consciousness, together we are God. Living these lives is how God learns, how we learn. We are ultimately one entity!!! There is only One of us!!!
