@ChangingTimes01 I got lectured yesterday on a youtube video about the importance in Aerith's death, how its essential to the game, how she's destined to stay dead forever and ever no matter the timeline / game. How my hope and shipping is destroying the "fact" that Aerith is and will always be dead from this point on and yada yada. I felt so defeated. They brought up some painful arguments that made sense, but i sensed so much hatred but i just couldn't say anything to that. I really just want game 3 to stomp on the haters' heads. Please give Aerith a happy ending 🥺

Same I used to flip flop between cloti and Clerith. But after rebirth I know where my loyalty lies. Was just all so much.

I cried when aerith died, but it feels like they're definitely building up to a true reunion in the 3rd part. With both hollow and no promises to keep being about being reunited and not letting go, zack finding out by marlene that aerith likes cloud and him accepting it, and even zack telling cloud to save aerith even after he death

I hope we have more moments in part 3 ☺️

@@kouruni I honestly think we're going to get a lot of Cloud and Aerith in part 3. Remake was Cloud's game. Rebirth is Aerith's. I think the third will be Cloud and Aerith's game seeing as the last part of Loveless has yet to play out. I think the affinity system will be gone too since there won't really be any need for it. I'm certain Cloud will reunite with Aerith.

@@kouruni Well, only one or two (if that) out of all my students might actually end up playing the game, so they're not too concerned about spoilers, and also... it's hard to explain, but sort of, like, given that only one or two will actually play the game, the things I show in class might be the only experience they'll ever have of it, so perhaps we can think of it not so much as spoilers, but just a kind of condensed experience of FFVII. :) By the way, when I showed the video to one of my classes today, I also scrolled down to show my comment and your reply! :)

A lot of people thing him and tifa slept together, but if so, doesn't it actually make cloud look bad that the first thing he says after is how his promised land is somewhere he can be reunited with aerith again? And in the books and AC, cloud was extremely distant from everyone. The only one that brought him any comfort was aerith and he even ends the movie with pictures of her flowers. Some people say he moved on from aerith, but that's also not the case. He simply moved on from his feeling guilty. His end goal is still to be reunited with serith in his promised land to my knowledge

*SPOILERS* DO NOT READ UNTIL YOU FINISH THE GAME. At first I thought maybe Cloud wanted to use the empty materia to trap a memory of Sephiroth but maybe he might use it as a memory of Aerith and since Aerith is Ancient she will reunite with him someway with the materia, he releases her memory at their place she appears, I am still try to think about this. Aerith is alive in another timeline, need proof, read more if you want but you can stop here. Aerith death scene New world: Look at Cloud sword when he screams no, you see a rainbow of light going up his sword and it’s glows green and you can see a green mist coming from his sword, it reminds me of what Rosa did to Alphreid sword during his fight in the loveless play. Watch as Cloud deflects Sephiroth sword you see rainbows like in the church and sleepy forest, remember the white whispers were with Aerith before her death. Watch how Sephiroth sword landed, it lands straight up. Cloud saves Aerith. OG world: Aerith death scene, look at the position of Sephiroth sword, it’s sideways, I am not sure but does her hair tie look purple? Cloud runs and holds Aerith body, you see flashes back and forth to the OG world she dies, he has tears and muttering words and in the world he saves her no tears. OG world. As the others run, Tifa stops in her tracks, not because Aerith death because she sees blood and no blood she doesn’t understand what is happening but she was in the lifestream. New world: Cloud lays Aerith on her back and he tells her I got this, look at the others they are standing still not moving. OG world, pay attention. As Tifa runs towards Aerith she is laying on her side, remember Cloud lays on her back in the new world. As soon as you see Cloud boots, pause, zoom in, you still see Aerith laying on her side. New world: As Cloud approached Aerith is once again laying on her back, the whispers are flying around Cloud walks through the others disappear, he asks Aerith to wake up she does. Why do you think Sephiroth told Aerith, I must admit I underestimated you. It was Aerith destiny to die in the OG world and she did, creating a new world means she can change her destiny and she did. Cloud isn’t crazy, remember he was injected with Jenova cells and mako when Hojo experimented on him, which is why he sees the rift in the sky, he sees both worlds and the others can’t because they can only see the OG world.

They "do the deed" in the original under the highwind, and in Advent Children, they're raising adopted children together. Edit: I'm not dismissing Aerith's feelings for Cloud by saying this. Aerith sees Zack in Cloud. That might be why she develops feelings for him.
