When he were ambused and powerless and begging for someone especially Eva, no one help him until Yamato summoned in his hand and kill all those demons who approach his home. That the last time he's crying and change him completely, he goes for kid who love reading book to powerlust. He wonder so far and realize that his journey are completely wrong, ofc through V he realize it. But it doesn't change the fact, real Vergil are just like Dante when he's alone. Vision of V manga and Before Nightmare novel pretty much say about this. Even Dante in DMC 3 manga(prequel) suprised that Vergil literally change and was like comepletely different person. Thats why Dante angry toward him because he change into something that they don't like(Demon).

​@@sulthanarya3281 You are right, just as the trauma of the tragedy changed Vergil, the fact that he was divided could ''heal him'' (so to speak) since by stripping her humanity she was left without that ambition for power and thanks to that was able to realize everything that was lost and did not know how to value. 😭 But anyway, with or without tragedy, Vergil is not 100% like Dante, they share similarities of course, but they are not absolutely the same

Vergil cant achieve a SDT since he isnt using his own ability, by that i mean Rebellion and yamato where the ones that gave their user powers (ex. Dante going out of D.T when Urizen destroyed rebellion) meaning without their weapons they cant go D.T but still have their insane super human capabilities, a SDT can only and br only achieved once they get their own blade Vergil's D.T wasn't his but yamato, hence nero's astral projection awakening on DMC 4

Dante's SDT is his own and true form while rebellion was just a part of sparda which is why vergil and dante's SDT kind of resembles Sparda's demon form (not even gonna say D.T cuz sparda is fully demon)

Dan Southworth had a cold while recording lines for 3 lol, that's why the voice doesn't sound the same in 5 cuz there isn't that distinctive nasal quality

Agreed. The moveset reflects his calm personality and elegance (force edge combo is a thing of beauty). In other games, his moves such as million stab, yamato combo C, Roulette spin, are moves that look like they belong to a hot tempered personality such as Dante, Nero. And an inferior default FE combo, and lack of new moves (the constant recycling of DmC Vorgil and Dante assets sort of disappoints me) doesnt help either, but 5 adds some cool new moves, such as void slash and FE Vortex, also those extra hits in DT are good,

Disagree. They have less impact but the damage they do is the same. The worst Summoned Swords were in the reboot. You don't feel them at all.

Agree, they feel more like daggers. It's weird how in dmc 3 they were longswords, in dmc4 they were normal swords and in dmc 5 they seem more like short swords.

Yes and the only manner for heal wounds is using....World of V skill. Devil Sword Dante fuse human and demon power sacrifing the healing factor. Yamato has the opposite efect when Vergil impale himself....separate human and demon energy and grants healing factor. Vergil dont levitate like Dante in Sin Devil trigger....but have control of the space time. His final skills cannot be interrupted when is transformed.

He does have ordinary DT in artbook, but I think his SDT is proly become his ordinary DT now judging by both twins use that instead of their old DT.

@@garretwoeller7669 they literally only changed in DMC1 and DMC3 , Dante's DT was set on DMC4 , as he had matured his power enough to not need to sap into a devil arm's power to do something like a Devil Trigger. And the V thing , truth be told , was merely because that was an unused move for the actual V and they repurposed for Vergil.

Nah, but if there was a V Clothes skin then the SDT skin should totally be it. I loved what they did with Corrupted Vergil/Nelo Angelo and would like it to make a return along with V/Urizen.
