I’ve been to Waterworld before but Thunderbolt was closed,and I really wanted to go on Thunderbolt 😢 but l still had fun 🤩

Ah shame. I remember it was closed for a while as they needed a part importing to fix it. It’s working now. So hopefully next time you go you’ll get on it!

Yeh it’s always a fun day out when Waterworld is involved. I’m going to their new mini adventure golf soon so stay tuned for that 👍🏼

@Imp the alien yeh decent. Alton towers is about half hour from Waterworld. And Waterworld is better than the Alton Towers water park. There’s also a new mini golf that’s just opened at Waterworld which is worth a visit in the evening if your hotel is close by. I made a video about it back in November if you get chance have a watch. @Imp the alien I’ve not done the one at Towers you’ll have to let me know if it’s any good. Where is the woodland lodge? There is some at Alton towers which I want to stay in but they are always fully booked. If you check my other vids there are 2 from Alton towers. 1 from the summer last year and another November 2019 showing the fireworks. Thanks for the sub appreciate it 😊 Ash.

Yeh covid isn’t helping things at the moment. As soon as these lock downs are done you’ll be ok with Towers. I went as soon as they reopen to see what it was like.

Hey. Sorry I missed this. I’ve been away. It’s good. Definitely worth a visit if you like water parks. Just try and go on an off peak weekend or weekday outside of school holidays. You’ll have more time for rides and less time to queue then.

Both are good rides. Nucleus been there for years. I remember when it was new. Cyclone is my favourite.

I’m absolutely terrified of twister hurricane and thunderbolt. I’m fine with the other slides. Can you give me some tips on how to brave those 3 slides?

Hey. Twister is probably the worst one I think. Thunderbolt is fun. I was abit nervous the first time though tbh. Best thing to do I think is watch everyone else go own first and watch people coming out at the bottom. Then pick someone and think ‘if they can do it so can I’

Not sure why they aren’t heated to the same temperature but I guess the reason why it’s not as warm as the main area is it’s separate water as all the other slides seem to share the same water. But it’s just my guess.

I went here yesterday and won’t ever be going again. You have to queue for 30 minutes just to get a rubber ring then you have to walk all the way around the park just to go and queue up for the actual slide. No one is social distancing, there were over 1800 people there plus they were letting walk-ins go in! Like- seriously

For some reason on a lot of them the closed flumes without floats the water splashed in my eyes mouth and nose so couldn’t see or breathe was scary I duno what I was doing wrong. I did love them tho the cyclone especially but not the ones where I was basically drowning

Yes some of the rubber ring slides have double rings. So you can go down together 👍🏼

Hey. Yeh unfortunately they don’t allow people to film or take photos on a normal visit to protect the children and other guests. Once a year they invite certain KZfaqrs and other media outlets to have an evening closed to the public. I suppose there are some perks to filming all the time lol. 🙂
