In my opinion, Windows XP has the most beautiful sounds in the history of Microsoft. And the interface design of Windows XP looks beautiful even now. It is a pity that now Windows XP cannot be used - it is too outdated. You can’t install it on modern computers, because you can’t find drivers (even for the 64-bit version of Windows XP), and old computers with 32-bit processors are simply useless now - modern programs won’t start, and the Internet has become too heavy. 20 years ago the internet was very light, websites were simple, just text and pictures; now sites are becoming more and more overloaded and clumsy. Finally, even though I'm a fan of MacOS, I miss Windows XP. In my opinion, this is the most legendary version of Windows, even more legendary than 7. Personally, I now use Windows 10: 11 is too heavy for my laptop, and 8.1 is already outdated - some programs stop working on it, or rather their current versions.

I'm still ususing WindowsXP to this day. My PC is probably a relic at this point, but it works really well, and once you're used to all the flaws of the system, you begin to ignore them. WindowsXP is eternal, the other versions are just passing by(Ok, maybe someone's still using Windows 2000).

Yesterday i found a windows xp back from around 2007 that my great grandpa used to have. Still works great(minus the keyboard no longer working, but we are replacing it.) 10 year old me was oddly fascinated by these systems and vowed one day to get one, and if I could tell young me that I would finally have one of my own in the future, that would mean everything to him. Still think these computers are fascinating on how differently yet how similarly they work to modern day windows computers.

XP was an era of positive futurism, compared to the bland, drab sad state of today, long live XP!

The operative system I'm the most nostalgic for. It was colorful, had great games, and great UI sounds. Yes, some UI sounds are similar to Win98, but generally Windows XP had creativity anyways, when it came to system sounds, interfaces and icons. I remember when my mom had an Acer Aspire One "ZG5" netbook, and it had Windows XP. I loved creating random folders on the home screen, I still have the hills wallpaper impressed in my mind, with the recycle bin icon, Windows Media Player, old MS Paint, and random notepad pages scattered through the desktop. I still remember transferring music from Windows XP to my old MP3 Player with my mom. And the system would sometimes crash, or give an error message followed by the iconic error sound. Windows XP's error sound is so iconic, the best Microsoft has ever made... After Windows 7, sounds of Windows aren't as good anymore. I like Windows 11, but XP and 7 are unbeatable. It's not just nostalgia, like linking Windows XP/7 to memories and happiness, but they were better systems in general too... Back when you had Movie Maker installed, no Microsoft account required, more colourful UI and wallpapers, better sounds... All things that made you want to use the system even when you didn't have to use your netbook, you would just turn it on to hear the logon startup sound and to admire the wallpapers, to explore the games, to click random stuff in the control panel. I kinda wish I i still had that Acer netbook with Win XP. I know I can still use a Virtual Machine, but the feeling isn't the same. Back when computers were smaller yet so powerful at the time. You could bring computers everywhere, now you need a special bag just for the PC and the charger. Back then instead, you could bring your PC without a bag, it could stay in-between your hands, or under your arm. I miss my childhood in the early 2010s, with Windows XP, Symbian OS, the Nokia 5230, Grand Theft Auto 4, the Pokémon Anime... Technically I can still watch the programs I used to watch, I could still emulate the operative system I used to use, and so on. But I can't go back to 2010-2014 anymore. Also, that Acer netbook broke in early 2021. It was almost 10 years old. Nowadays, you need a new laptop every 4 or 5 years, due to updates not releasing on older models, or due to fragility. Rest in Peace, Acer Aspire One ZG5. You made me and my mom rage when the system had errors, but you were still great. To the owner of this channel : thanks for uploading this. And to everyone else, I hope you don't mind this too-long comment.
