Dorothy's line at the end of the movie, Wizard of Oz, comes to mind: "... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own backyard; because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with." But, my present moment could not have been arrived at any other way, given the choices I made. And as I look around, it's pretty damn good. It could use some TLC here and there, but overall, I'm very content and very grateful for my here and now.
