when i was younger i thought the beatles were overrated (for fairly obvious reasons, that being that i had never heard any of their music and was skeptical to believe that a single band could make music so good it overtook an entire culture) and then i listened to them and realized with comical anger exactly why beatlemania happened and its because they really are just that good. god damn it
