Before demon lord's evolution he was technically immortal, he doesn't age(infinite lifespan) and can take a spiritual form to possess another vessel/body +can regenerate even if his physical body is completely Erased. After his demon lord's evolution. He can't die unless you managed to destroy his core which a set of information. Meaning erasing both his body and soul wouldn't work. But with ultimate skill veldora he got the true immortality, as long as veldora exist, he wouldn't die even if he's destroyed to absolute nothingness and vice versa. After becoming an ultimate slime and gaining void god Azathoth. He then got the true ultimate immortality, As true dragon and with Azathoth's sub skill

Anyways after the ultimate slime evolution he practically got all the types. And became truly immortal

yeh, that was a bad decision, as he summon Diablo and Beretta using what he learned during the adventure exam... the LN and Manga show it, to be honest its not a great moment, but Its important to show how he find out how to do it, I think the anime extra episodes show a frame about the exame, he basically choose batle type because was faster then gather or exploration, so he fought against summoned monsters of low rank, the adventurer who was doing the test get pissed about how easily he is killing and summon a B rank demon haha, almost die doing it... in the end this just did 2 things for Rimuru. 1. he learned how to summon a demon. 2. he tried and 'learned' about imbuing magic in his sword to hit the demon with a sword slash, as the demon summoned was a full spiritual entity without a body, he did this because his adventurer self was a swordsman, so using magic wasn't a good ideia, obviously the hit and the kill of the demon amazed everyone.. but Rimuru didn't note, or care about it

I jus twish he were a bit more developed. don't get me wrong i love him so much that i could found a religion to praise him but... i just wish he could hold his ground against women. i mean his last regret was that he didn't get more experience with women and now he has all the women he wants and all he needs to do is ask "who wants to be my bride"? and then he picks one. and it's not just the girls, liek when milim attacked. i wish he would've just stood firm and screamed: "HANDS OF AND ON YOUR KNEES" because she was no threat at all. and when they got catched visiting the elves (for the second time) then i wish he would've done as gazelle said. just tell them off. all of them are always treating him like their plaything, but nobody shows actual romantic affection to him, so of course he will go to some elves that actually show some kind of love even if it's lip service.

@@Sukumba. Ich denke eine Regentschaft sollte aus einer gesunden Mischung aus Liebe und Furcht bestehen. Nur Liebe ist nicht gut, denn dann hören die Gefolgsleite gelegentlich nicht, so wie es bei Milim der Fall war. Sie handeln eher auf eigene Verantwortung, was ja grundsätzlich gut ist. Aber ich hätte mir so ein kleines bischen Furcht, oder zumindest Ehrfurcht gewünscht. eine Strenge und Konsequenz wo Rimuru sagt: HALT STOP! JETZT REDE ICH! Und gut, ja, Shizus Tod hat ihn etwas aufgefühlt aber generell scheint es mir nicht so als wäre er jemals ernsthaft an einer der Frauen interessiert gewesen. Der Mann war fast 40 Jahre lang Jungfrau, gut als Schleim hat man vermutlich keine Libido, aber emotional muss da doch eine gewisse Gier da sein, immerhin hat er deswegen sogar den Titel Raubtier gekriegt. Im Grunde muss er doch eigentlich nur da vor seinen Bürgern stehen und sagen "Ich will ne Frau, wer hat Lust?" und dann wirft er ne Münze, die Verliererinnen Weinen und dann ist alles vergessen. Stattdessen wird er geradezu androgyn dargestellt.
