Kristina Lopez She was brave. “Being black or interracial” and being in love with a white person was a big no no back in this time period. Her brother said that people wouldn’t want to see them on stage performing because of their skin color. She was called the help which was degrading but proved she had so much more potential. So she was a fighter and a dreamer.

they had stunt doubles but in an interview with zendaya she admitted the director wanted to use the stunt doubles as little as possible so it was mostly zac and zendaya doing their own stunts.

It literally kills me that this film wasn't awarded more recognition than it was. This is a truly amazing body of work and everyone involved should feel so proud to have been a part of it. This will go down as one of the greats. One of those timeless, legendary classics that later generations will want to watch again and again. I know I do.

This was my favorite scene in the movie and I loved many, many scenes so this is really saying something. I thought "Rewrite the Stars" was absolutely amazing. What an absolutely beautiful scene. Incredible choreography. I could watch it again and again. I have the DVD on pre-order after seeing the movie 4 times in the theater. Well done!
