Tyres will take you to the deeper holes . Ego unfortunately has no grip at all. The control of momentum required is the key .

Yes very not many people can keep momentum and control it! Most e d up revving the engine hard in the wrong gear too!!

Yeah he drove it good at the pay n play! He’s been out with us in few laning trips and hasn’t got stuck on anything yet!…

Pre 2002 Pinin with diff locks and a set of mud boots are like little tanks.

Yeah they are perfect little jeeps!! Shame mine was just the AWD so struggled in places and was on road tyres at the time..there is a video of it a bit more kitted out on here if you get chance to see it..😎👌

I towed a mitsubishi truck with my little diesel freelander 1 that was loaded with 1000 kilos of veggies it was sliding down a muddy hill. I was pretty surprised considering how I was loaded with 700 or 800 kilos myself.

They are a good vehicle when all the 4WD system is working I had a freelander 1 good few years ago had to replace all the drivetrain-rear differential,vcu ,props,ird box and gearbox but when it was working very surprised how good they are..👍

Land Rover freelanders are so underrated but they never get stuck except if human driving error applied 💪💪💪 🤷🤷

Yes your right they are very underrated it’s all about discovery’s and defenders but people forget about the freelanders and the Range Rover L322 😎👍👍

Oh no was it deep mud? My old freelander got stuck first time I took it off-road found out it didn’t have a prop shaft and was removed when I brought it haha! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂

@ALL_4_WHEELS I actually live very near to Stroud and I know every green lane in the area, there are some really good ones and some mediocre ones. Either the Range Rover or the Landcruiser?

Yeah man just filming on the phone until I can get a camera but does ok filming in 4K takes ages to load up the vid though!

It is a freelander after all 😉 would of rippped the VCU off blew up the IRD and left the rear axel behind haha it did well for what it did 😎👍

This was st clears pay n play but unfortunately it’s closed down now.. was a good place.

300 series is much better off road than a crappy TD5, Disco that is 🙂

Yes definitely agree with you! In deep water they can keep on chugging where as a td5 may decide not to work haha!! Thanks for watching! Hope your enjoying the channel! 👌🏼
