VistaPrint is $250 for 2500 postcards, which is fine. But to have them send them out to that many people, the postage costs $1600!! Not able to afford that at the moment considering I just started this business. So I just ordered 500 and I’m going to get them out to customers myself. It’s not ideal, but it’s what has to be done. Guys just starting out can’t afford those numbers

100% Ad spend has been directly linked to quantity and quality of work we do. ROI is a valuable metric though - Spend on the right channels.

I am too busy to use bandit signs until I can add another truck. Bandit signs have generated more than $50,000 in revenue for me. I usually get at least 1 call per sign but, usually can expect 2-5 calls per sign. I have put out 1 sign in the right spot and gotten 8 calls and 6 jobs. I use 2'x3' signs, plain white with black BOLD, big print. My phone number is the biggest lettering on the sign highlighted in RED, BOLD. The next biggest font is POWER WASHING HOUSE WASHING WINDOW CLEANING GUTTER CLEANING in bold. My company name and logo is on there but, is super small. If people can't read your signs driving by you will never get any calls.

@@NBRPWeazelNews. 1 well designed sign in the right place can do wonders. My signs are 2’ x 3’ so they are quite large for a yard sign.

$25/hr

$40+/hr. Just know how much you can do in an hour, get the square footage. with new clients get their square footage with Google Earth and divide their square footage by the square footage . Then multiple that by $40+/hr and you'll know how much to charge. Have a minimum number you'll charge for those places that are smaller than what you can do in an hr so it makes your time worth it. Don't forget to include your set up time to the time of what you can do in an hour because that time matters too.

I pull out 10 or more signs per day from my neighborhood which are a blight. I use a garden rake to easily reach up and pull such signs off of utility poles. And I'm not the only one! Neighborhood cooperation reduces the number of such sign to a minor nuisance. Similarly, people cold calling me on the phone get cut off in seconds. I sort through mail standing over the recycle bin, and anything that hasn't made a positive case as being of interest to me gets dumped directly.

@MMAisAddicti In the City of Seattle, such signs posted on utility poles invariably fail to meet the standards the city requires for signs to be posted on utility poles. Other signs on the right of way are simply trash. And even if signs meet the standards the city requires, there is no law against removing them anyway if people don't like them. So yes, I am delighted to keep my neighborhood free of trash and nuisances posted by selfish "business" people who are creating unsightly nuisances. I've taken down thousands of such signs over the years. It's not unusual for passing motorists to thank me for doing so.

So it's the same old story on KZfaq again. I've seen so many of your older videos praising yard signs ( Yes they work ) bragging how much money you spent on them over the years because they worked so good for your business. But now just to keep creating content for KZfaq ( bigger channels make big money ) your contradicting all you've said in the past because making another video with a catch title that might get views to keep their chanel interesting instead of sharing truthful information for the viewers is the agenda. This is why KZfaq is becoming a bad source of information because we now have to sift through the BS because the agenda is the channel. I'm not trolling just disappointing.

Didn't watch the video did you? This is why KZfaq can be a bad source of information- because people selectively decide what they hear. We still use bandit signs daily, still buy about 2000 bandit signs a year. Still are threatened by code enforcement. BUT.....like in all things.......we evolve.....we change....we get better. I don't know you of course, but I'm sure your methods and processes and marketing strategies have evolved and become more refined over the years.
