Dua for the love of Allah Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuka wal-amalalladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak. Ways to attain love of Allah 1. Obligatory deeds & nawafil prayers. 2. Following the Sunnah of Rasulullah (Pbuh) 3. Constant dhikr and Quran 4. Studying the attributes of Allah 5. Spend quality time with Allah (tahajjud & qiyamul layl) 6. To love those whom Allah loves, to want to be with them. 7. Study the characteristics from the quran that Allah tells about who He loves. 8. "Oh Allah i ask for your love and the love of those whom you love and the love of deeds that brings me to your love" Abud-Darda’ (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “One of Prophet Dawud’s supplications was: ‘Allahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allahumm-aj’al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-ma’il-baridi. Meaning: O Allah! I ask You for Your Love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water.

I wish he included the English translation of the numerous Arabic words he frequently uses. He does on a few but not on many others and there are not enough context clues for me to derive the general meaning of the Arabic words. Perhaps adding all the Arabic words that are used and the coorsponding English translations in the discription it may help people like me who haven't been given the gift from Allah (swa) of fully understanding Arabic the chance to learn Arabic. This video and the many others like it could reach so many more people if this were implemented, and by teaching Arabic piece by piece he will gain a reward that will continue to add to his good deeds after death. Just my humble opinion. Allah knows best.

*Deeds loved most by Allah?* Prophet (ﷺ) was asked by his companion, "Which deed is loved most by Allah?" He replied, *1.'To offer prayers at their early (very first) stated times.'* `Abdullah asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, *2."To be good and dutiful to one's parents,"* `Abdullah asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, *3."To participate in Jihad for Allah's Cause."* `Abdullah added, "The Prophet (ﷺ) narrated to me these three things, and if I had asked more, he would have told me more." Sahih Muslim 2695 Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The uttering of (these words):" Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَر Is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises. Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: ''Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi'' and ''Subhan Allah Al-`Azim." Sahih al-Bukhari 7563
