As a westerner this was the first time, 10 years ago, I truly felt the beauty in the word "Allah". The performance is so powerful and sincere.

Comments by Sir Rohail Hyatt : "Coke Studio is not a fixed formula production. It's a creative playground for the artists. We leave the choice to the artists as to how many songs they might like to perform and then work around that number. But having said that, I think you should wait and see the episode first :) For me personally, season one's 'Allah Hu' was the real reason why I produced Coke Studio back then. One can never plan a performance like that but the house band were really into this track when we jammed with a general idea prior to the arrival of the singers. I had previously done a version with Sian Zahoor for 'Khuda kay liyay' and was very interested in producing a live version of this track. Unfortunately Sian could not make it for the recording and Tufial was given the task of performing it with Ali Zafar at the very last minute. This version is actually called 'Hu' and is different from Sian's version of 'Allah Hu'. The rest is history..."

I am actually stunned by performance of Saeen Tufail Sanjrani. No disrespect for Ali Zafar as he is already an amazing and accomplished artist. But for this song, its all Saeen Tufail. What a haunting and mesmerizing voice talent he has. Takes the listener in trans in firat 2 seconds after he starts singing. Not sure why he is not given more chance as coke stusio usually invites singers on repeat. I would love to listen him sing in season 11. He deserves well.

People are loving Coke studio 9.. They love tajdar e Haram, Rang, Many other soulful Tracks....But tell me how can i release myself from this Number.. For me this is the best one of all Coke studios... Tufail Niazi and Ali zafar with vocals are just killing these lyrics... Full volume of your headphones and tell me what could be better than this..... its 2017, and this is more than refreshing....

This was What Rohail Hyatt introduced in the Music industry of Pakistan. This was the real fusion real music real magic and the best time of Coke Studio. Even after almost a decade we are listening it and Loving it. Thanks to the Crappy Coke Studio for making me listen the Old tunes of Coke Studio the ones produced and composed by Musical genius named Rohail Hyatt.

Cannot believe that 9 years has gone passed so quickly. It was 2008 when a pehnomenon known as Coke Studio was unleashed by Rohail Hayyat and in 2017 when he is no longe around, the phenomenon goes on.

Saw Very first time the coke studio advertising board on shahrah e faisal featuring Tufail sanjrani n Ali zafar . . . I thought its a concert going ro be held in somewhere in KHI. what a soulful track . Ali zafar seemed no where infront of Tufail sanjrani in this track.
