The idea of a sense of superiority over others afflicted the Ummah. This is the exact mentality of the Israelites. Allah corrected that mentality and gave this Deen to the entire world. But look at the Ummah today. Each one of us became many Israelites. This Ummah became either nationalistic, extremely tribal, or extremely arrogant on our own understanding of the religion. Allah will elevate the nation that is humble before believers and tough against enemies. But we Muslims became really tough against each other and humble before our enemies.

Following from Senegal. Grateful to Allah WalLahi. JazaakalLaahu khayr. Here our problem is sects, tareeqas that create new prophets even. Some take a dhikr formula and are "garanteed" Jannah. Others pleed allegiance to someone who promises them they can not pray and not fast and enter Jannah for sure. 13 sects minimum. We even have a black Muhammad salalLaahu aleyhi wa sallama. AstaghfirulLah. HasbunalLah.

The pressure on the dress code and the race issue in the community is real. We focus on the wrong things. I can never understand how a muslim could be racist or feel racially superior. Where I live mosques are like embassies, each one of a specific ethnic group and if you’re not one of the same ethnicity you stick out and will get stared at and this is the reason I just pray at home and pretty much never walk into a mosque unless abroad on vacation

I find doing adkaar helps me to be remember Allah more often in the day. If I miss the adkaar after the fard prayer that day, I find myself really being lazy so I highly recommend completing the full adkaar after each prayer! Read a little bit of Qur’an during the day. Bayyinah does a wonderful job of breaking the basic tafseer in parts so I highly suggest aiming to finish one video, even if you think you can’t finish the entire video at least start and aim for even 1 minute. Also the most bitter truth I have to accept is that we don’t make the effort to prioritize our relationship with Allah. We make sure to attend that job, school, outing and put the effort into preparing for each but where is that in our relationship with Allah? Also acknowledging whatever sin we maybe be struggling with or whatever it is that is making down is soo important! I promise you that as you keep the connection with Qur’an strong not just in reading the Arabic but understanding what the meaning is, you will find that Allah will open doors you didn’t think were possible and whatever rut you were in will seem like nothing soon In Sha Allah! It doesn’t matter whatever we are going through, we should all strive to be those who can put that aside and show up for Allah in our prayers, adkaar, and Qur’an reading. Do you still attend work, school, and other commitments even when you are down? Sometimes we have no choice, so remember that the next you feel down. May Allah make it easy for all of us to consistent in our relationship with Him, ameen!

Something that helps me in trying to be consistent in the Qur’an is having a reward system. I tell myself that I will dedicate time to the Qur’an with tafsiir (start with surah Al-Fatiha and aim for at least 1 video/audio a day then continue) then do that hobby I enjoy. I will not engage in that hobby until I feel like I worked for it! I will not succeed 100% of the time but it helped in disciplining myself so give it try!

There's this particular ayat in Quran that goes (33:59) O Prophet, enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women, to draw a part of their outer coverings around them. It is likelier that they will be recognised and not molested. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. However I (and ofcourse some girls like me) have been molested while being in a completely covered outfit. I am a Muslim and I have a relationship with the Quran so I want to believe that everything in it is completely true, however I cannot ignore what I went through while following the dress code and the islamic code of conduct. It could be that some of the ayat are revealed for a specific situation in the history? Because the Quran also says not to befriend the disbelievers. Does that also apply to us? Also is it a sin if we happen to interpret the Quran and apply it according to our own understanding and experiences?

I don't know about 1st question but Ustad answered 2nd question in a video.....in short, Allah is saying don't be WALI of non-muslim...Now WALI means that types of friend who stay with you (like super-glue) always....Now if you became Wali with a non-muslim & you are doing all the SHIRK & Sins they are doing,,that is prohibited....

Hijab is mandatory the same way a man to NOT rape and assault a woman is mandatory. Once you start picking and choosing Islam you will become like the christians who do whatever they want and are confused. Hijab is still a protection. As a doctor 99X it is the women going to clubs, using drugs, walking almost naked, these are the ones more often raped. Question: which car has higher chance of car crash? One parked at home? Or one speeding on highway at night??? Allah ﷻ invites us to ponder over Quran but certain things are mandatory. I get it some women wanna look sexy like Bollywood and dont like hijab. And some men want to rape (also haram) We must control ourselves

The Tatar are a Turkic race, and they didn't fight Islam nor did they fight against the Muslim, The ones he's referring to are the Mongols, which they have nothing to do with the Turkic people even though both of them came from the same place which is Central-East Asia. The Mongolic ethnicities possibly related to the Turkic and Tungusic people, whose languages together would include in the hypothetical Altaic language family.
