Allah (swt) - The Most Beautiful Names of Allah - Sheikh Halis (Ebu Hanzala)
In this course, the name of Allah (swt), its contents and the importance of knowing Allah (swt) are explained to us.
Imam Ash-Shafi'i (ra) said: "All the work done by the community is aimed at explaining the Sunnah of our Prophet (pbsl). The whole Sunnah is the explanation of the Quran. The sole purpose of the Sunnah is the explanation of the Qur'an. The entire Qur'an is intended to explain the names and attributes of Allah (swt). "
The word "Allah" is passed 2697 or 2670 times (depending on others) in the Qur'an. Counting the personal pronouns that refer to Allah (swt), this increases to six thousand.
That is to say, Allah (swt) speaks about Him in almost all the verses of the Qur'an. Our Lord tells us this: "O my servant, I have revealed this book so that thou mayest know me as it should be. This book has only one purpose, which is that you may know me and worship me as a servant as it should be. "
The different linguistic meanings of the word "divinity" are :
1. "He who protects and ensures the safety of people. "
"Say: 'Who holds in his hand the absolute kingship of all things and who protects and need not be protected? [Say], if you know! " (23/The Believers, 88)
2. Man's amazement at the greatness, creation, order and destiny of Allah (swt).
3. What intensifies the sadness and curiosity of the heart.
4. What makes one sad and painful.
"And whosoever turns away from My Remembrance, shall certainly lead a life full of discomfort." (20/Ta-Ha, 124)
5. The one to whom hearts are lovingly attached.
"There are some among men who take, besides Allah, equals to Him, loving them as one loves Allah. But the believers are most ardent in the love of Allah." (2/ The cow, 165)
6. He who gives pleasure and joy.
7. The light that illuminates.
"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth." (24/The Light, 35)
8. The one who's close.
"We have indeed created man, and We know what his soul suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein." (50/Qaf, 16)
9. He who covers himself and hides himself from the eyes of people.
"He (Moses) said: "O my Lord! show Thyself to me that I may see Thee! "He (Allah) said: "Thou shalt not see Me. But look at the Mount: if it stands in its place, then thou wilt see Me. "But when his Lord manifested Himself on the Mount, He pulverized it and Moses collapsed with lightning. " (7/Al-A'raf, 143)
"Looks cannot reach Him, yet He grasps all the looks... "(6/The cattle, 103)
10. He who is worshipped and He who deserves to be worshipped.

5. He who subsists by Himself.

"Buraydah ibn al-Husaib (ra) said: "One day when we were at the mosque, the Prophet (pbuh) saw a man invoked in this way: "O Allah, I invoke You because You are Allah the One, the Only One to be implored for what we desire, who has not begotten and has not been begotten and to whom nothing is equal. "When the Prophet (pbuh) heard this invocation, he said: "These are the supreme names of Allah. If one asks through Him, He grants and if one invokes through Him, He answers. " "
