As a Celtic fan Allan McGregor broke my heart so many times but that was a nice touch by the manager to let him have a decent send off and for the rangers support to show their appreciation.

Even as a Celtic fan I always loved his passion. Great career if he does end up retiring. I don’t think McClaughlin is a good enough keeper personally though. Might have to dip into the market otherwise struggle with him for a season.

McClaughlins a great backup for us but we definitely need to look for someone in the summer, not sure he’s quite up to starting 11 standards yet

The good thing about McLaughlin is that he controls his box unlike McGregor. McGregor might be better but one thing he doesn't do is control the box.

If he is retiring, I’d expect him to still be involved with the club on a goalkeeping coach basis. Simply too much of a club legend to not have around the team. As for future keepers, I’m not sure McLaughlin is the answer for a direct replacement. I hope the club loosen the purse strings and dip into the market for a young, as good(if not better) replacement for greegsy.

We should never have got pens the chances we missed should have all been goals. An yes if he saved one pen it could have been a totally different outcome. I don't like the fact gio done what the English manager done last year and that's sub guys on just for a pen. England done it last year the guys they subbed on missed the goal same goes for us a few days ago the guy subbed on never scored the pen (Ramsey).

Is this a joke? Why not go for Messi and Ronaldo while you’re at it. He’s going to be playing in the Champions League next season, and in a team that will be expected to finish in the top half of the German league.

Tell me why a player who is playing for the reigning Europa League Champions in the top German league, and will be playing in the Champions League next season, would give that up to play for the runners up of the Scottish league who are not guaranteed entry to the Champions League next season?
