Good video. I would like to point out that there is another type of shot, which is a mid instep kick without the foot to the side. This shot is more difficult technically, because it is very easy to dig your toes into the turf, which will be very painful)). However, this shot is very effective when the player is directly facing the goal and has no opportunity to run sideways to the ball. I most often like to use power shot after moving from the flang to the middle, mid instep shot after dribbling when I am facing the goal in the centre, and inside foot or knuckleball during free kicks from different distances.

I really appreciate the slow-mo, I was practicing, and on a couple of my power shots, my form was wrong or something and it might've slightly twisted my leg (I was fine after, but there was some lingering pain). After watching this video, I really can now analyze and try to figure out what went wrong! :D

I used to fear the ball so I understand, so what I used to do was pass, pass it and stay back, less chance of being tackled and no if you shoot and miss your the bad guy type of stuff.
