*9 months later report!!* I end up wearing my Tree Runners more simply because I live a place that’s quite hot half of the year. I wear them at least 4 times a week EVERY week (coz they look good with everything) and the last time I washed them is around 7 months ago. Happy to report that they barely smell even after a run, and a quick machine wash for the shoe, hand wash for the insoles - make them fresh as new!! REMEMBER to stuff stocks or sth in the shoes when drying them as it helps keep their shape. Love them!!

Ok.. you sold me, I just order my 1st pair of tree runners with expedited shipping so I can wear them walking around on my vacation. Maybe in the fall and if these are everything that people say they are I will order the wool runners. Thank you for such a thorough review! Can’t wait to try them!

Thanks for the review. It's sometimes difficult to find shoe reviews made by women. I've just ordered a pair of wool mizzles since we're heading into winter here. Hopefully I will love them as much as everyone seems to.

@@GloriaYu I did get them and I liked them quite a bit. My custom orthotics don’t really fit in them is my only complaint, so I can’t take them for really long walks, only short ones. Very cosy and nice amount of toe space too.

This is the best breakdown video of the allbirds shoes that I have come across on the internet. Thank you so much for making this good and informative video. A quick question, when your allbirds first arrive, they come with inserts inside of the shoe. Should these inserts be kept inside the shoe when you are not wearing them, and are there any advantages for ditching them?

Hi David, sorry for the late reply I have dropped off KZfaq for a bit in the last year. I think there are benefits to keeping the inserts whether for Allbirds or shoes in general as they keep the shape of the shoes when you are not wearing them :) Personally I ditched them because I just didn't want to deal with keeping extra stuff, but at times I wish I kept them. For example I don't wear the wool ones much during summer and it would have been nice to have kept the inserts so the wool shoes could keep their shape better.

I googled "all birds review" because of an advertisement while looking at on my fire stick. I have to admit, the review was outstanding (I may even get a pair now) and the reviewer was very easy on the eyes.

The most comfortable shoe I have now are $10 dollar knock off crocks from Walmart that I got a year ago. I needed new shoes regardless of price. Just needed comfort. Saw this and bam. Got 2 pairs. Thank you.

I loooove your review. This is how a review should look like. What is the color for the tree runner btw? I check on Allbirds website I only saw a white color but the shoe in the video looks like cream color.

It’s a cream color and I got it on the australia site. Yea seems like cream is only available in the .au site :/ white looks fab in any case too! thanks for the kind words about the review 🥰

mine are coming up to a year old now the onlh thing i have to say is the support in one side is changing but to be fair u WEAR these all the time I'm gonna just get an insole best shoes ever. i also wash mine pretty frequently and they

4:01 This! I had some random lady at the airport tell me she loves my Allbirds and it was like we were both in a secret society. haha I'm going on two years with my pair of Tree Runners and they finally have a small rip in the bottom where it attaches to the sole. I tried a pair of the Mizzles and didn't like how confined and inflexible they felt compared to the Tree Runners. So now I'm trying to decide if I want to get another pair of Tree Runners in Meteorite, or try the Natural Black Wool Runners. Or if I should buy both and just return the Wool Runners if I don't like them. (Realistically I'll end up being out $190 because I'll like both haha)

Really good and informative video! Would you say the tree runners would lose their shape too when it’s washed over time and what has been your experience with using Allbirds in the rain? Are they water resistant or are your feet going to end up wet if you walk in the rain with them?

Hi! Sorry for the late reply - my tree runners haven't really lost their shape. Everytime I wash them, I stuff something in the shoe when I'm drying them. I think this helps keep their shape. Tree runners are not water resistant! So yes your feet will get wet if you're wearing them and running in the rain. But Allbirds also has a pair of shoes called the Mizzles which are water resistant.

So far I don’t have a problem with that!! I’ve had mine for half a year. I’m sure they are not completely invincible I can’t imagine wearing them for three years in really hot weather and they would be completely odorless 😅 time will tell! I’ll update the description here or leave a comment if there are any noteworthy updates in the future 😉

I’m on my feet for 9 hours at work at the hospital, and my feet end up smelling a lot. Are the tree ones worth it?

Yes. They are extremely comfortable. And very airy too. When they air is on in your car you can literally feel the air passing through them and it’s awesome. And that’s wearing them with socks! They would be perfect for hospital job. The laces come untied sometimes though but it’s not a huge problem. The tree runners is what I have and it’s the best my feet have ever felt.
