As much as I am a South African and a Springbok fan but when we want to up our game we always look at the All blacks as a bench mark. Thank you for making rugby an elite sport. They say it's a hooligans game played by gentlemen, and I couldn't agree more. Love from Cape Town RSA

Of course most matches something its creepy but every respect springboks winn. Both teams played a good Cup. Kiwis was even bigger showed never give up and improof. Like springboks was last decade. Boks hade a great coaching stuff....

Love the game of rugby but sometimes the refereeing just takes too much out of the game. Like if you wanna say thats a red sin bin him for 10 and then take him off the field and let them replace Kane. It just totally deflates the game for a tackle that wasn't malicious at all. Happens all too often as well.

A hard watch, as I really wanted the All Blacks to win the cup, the better team by far. We south Africans dont have the same values and respect. The fact that my son can watch this doc series and have loads of take homes because its clean, has depth and character. Can't wait to watch you guys win it again!

Better team by far? C’mon they got beatrn by a side with far more attrition on it. Without their key hooker,and centre, lost the starting hooker via foul play ( lets be honest) and played with a geriatric hooker for over 70 mins…???? By far? If a full strength Bok team played as fresh as the ABS were entering the final it would have been worse than Twickenham by far… Those Boks deserved the highest of praise in sporting history and the history will be remembered as one of the greatest sporting teams and achievements of all times….🇿🇦🇿🇦

I don't think Ireland were tournament favourites, they clearly had a chance being no.1 going in. The preparation before the game was the difference, AB's played Uruguay on the 5th and had an easy victory, Ireland played Scotland on the 7th resulting in a raft of injuries, that tilted things in favour of NZ, mid week Ireland didn't appear to have a backline but they threw a team together, early points for the AB's caught Ireland cold and they just didn't play to their full potential that day. Great game though.

There should’ve been a total readjustment and complete clean-out of the coaching staff after the All Blacks lost to England in the 2018 rugby world cup semi-final. That undoubtedly would’ve meant Scott “Razor” Robertson being appointed as head coach. NZR's decision to appoint Ian Foster instead was a disastrous one which led to the worst performances I’ve ever seen from the All Blacks in the 4 years leading up to the 2023 world cup. In the 2023 world cup itself, it led to the All Blacks’ loss to France and cost the All Blacks the title with the loss to the Springboks in the final. Had Razor been appointed as head coach, the All Blacks would’ve won the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Wayne Barnes opportunity to give NZ the middle finger to NZ for pointing out his repeat offending since 2007. Robbed. Sam Cane led our boys to victory that day and no team that won that many metrics, has lost a game in the World Cup. We need to demand more of our officiators. The rugby players deserve better. What a slap in the face, giving the win to an undeserving team. I’d be ashamed if the AB’s won in that fashion.

I can honestly say that the SA's whinged alot during this game. Any small head contact, they yelled out at the ref, head contact head contact!!! Watch the replays. I watched the game live and realized that SA were playing that type of game that was typical of a goodie goodie 2 shoes. They did not play it like real men.

the red card wasn't fair I agree. But to sit here and say the AB's were robbed and the better team lost and all this nonsense - what about missed penalties? What about two South Africans sent off yellow card? Boks were not one up for the entire game were they? No. Your guy who deliberately took out Bongi got away with it, no red for that? So please. Quit your bitching and take the loss, there was almost nothing between the teams on the day, Boks won by a single point and so actually if I listen to the attitudde coming from AB supporters I should say that makes us the better team and maybe you all got your comeuppance for years and years of cheating around the ruck and being the most ill disciplined elite team in the world, your rate of yellow and red cards will back this up. But then, I'm not a complete ass so I won't say that to you AB supporters.
