Then explain how someone convicted like Robin Padilla became the number one senator in 2022. Let's face it. It's Filipinos who vote such individuals into office. So it doesn't matter if Jinggoy gets to question Morales' integrity. To me, it's a pot calling a kettle black. Both Estrada and Morales are equally tainted.

@@raymondjoseph9282 I find it odd that we now want "accountability" when a majority of us voted such people into office. The president has the largest majority ever in Philippine history yet has convictions himself. So it doesn't really matter now if our elected officials are morally upright or not. Filipinos have proven that they actually don't really care for such things like integrity or honesty during elections. By the way, the next presidential contender from Davao has publicly stated that she doesn't think too much of honesty in public office.

He remains free pending appeal or exhaustion of his legal remedies. Bribery is a serious crime, nonetheless, and Jinggoy seems to be downplaying it. Being convicted of bribery as a public official severely damages one's reputation and erodes public trust. Let's not forget that Tolommeee ReviIIa and Juan FossiI EnriIe were also unfortunately acquitted of plunder charges. It's these three senators' staff members who faced the bigger consequences. This only brightlines how important public accountability is and the need to carefully choose the right candidates for public office in every election.

“corruption” is an umbrella term which includes the criminal offences of bribery, extortion, fraud, cartels, abuse of power, embezzlement, and money laundering.

@@MelyUchiDoes it matter? Jinggoy is not the only one. Padilla, the number one 2022 senator by the way, himself has convictions. Several have conflicts of interest. This is what we get when the majority of us choose poorly during elections. Anyway was Jinggoy wrong in questioning Morales' credibility when the Supreme Court upheld a finding of dishonesty which Jinggoy pointed out.

The only issue that I want to point out is that once an absolute pardon was given to a convicted person he is free like a person not sue or convicted of any crimes, the way Trillanes and the rest of Magdalo muteeners got.

It actually has nothing to do with the evidence but should be asked why the raid was stopped, who stopped it and why that document was pulled out of PDEA files and somebody has it and keeping it because why are they trying to bribe Morales as seen from the video? Nakakasira sa programa mo to interview a convicted plunderer who basically assassinating a person’s character who himself was found by the court as guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

Good job senator Jingoy Estarada! Don't let the govt be shaken bec of Morales whose credibility is very questionable. And make it stop as soon as possible as it's wasting time and resources which came from tax payers.

Maraming PILIPINO na minimum lang ang kinikita sa Pinas. Healthcare ang problema nila kung tumanda sila. Mga iba na OSPITAL ay hirap sa gastosin at ILANG DECADA na mayroon Senado ay walang nakakagawa ng Batas na maibaba ang gastosin ng mga Mahihirap. SANA ay DOCTOR naman ang iboto at sila ang makaisip ng sagot tungkol sa Healthcare ng mga Mahihirap.
