Residential hauntings often have that personal side to them which makes it even more interesting, as it is often a house the spirit lived in which is often why the responses can be so clear as I can only imagine the frustration of someone being in ‘your’ house but you cant do a thing about it.

Agree but I live in an old Victorian and have ADD and my house is a mess from kids and we’ve had very minimal reaction we’ve been here seven years and it only happened recently I think bc I’ve had a lot of deaths in my family and I think I also try to act like nothing happened as much as possible I experienced a horrifying haunting growing up

Murder victims or missing people can be quite an intense topic and can also distress the families depending on how recent it is, one of the best videos like it that i’ve seen was by TwinParanormal where they investigate a cabin which a number of people had been killed in. If I remember correctly they got info through a spirit box which related closely to the killing. We have been tempted to shoot a video like it for our channel at a location of an unsolved murder but we also don’t want to upset the family.

I have seen dark shadows on two occasions and both times they didn’t pose a threat they were just watching what I was doing and then moved away once they were spotted.

Sagan did a real disservice to scientific research/debate when he said that, people abuse that quote so much. The claim "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" lacks definition which makes its meaning ambiguous. Therefore, it is not legitimate as a scientific claim or rule. Even if someone defines its terms before using it, it's still problematic as the underlying assumption - that there is a universal, directly proportional relationship between the nature of a claim & the nature of the evidence required to support/ establish it is not true. Sure, there are instances where its usage as a precautionary approach to accepting unlikely claims may seem appropriate, caution should always be exercised when ECREE is used or encountered as it is not a universal principle & so can be misapplied or even abused: to dismiss evidence, avoid debate, avoid assessing pertinent claims, etc. All claims are different & will therefore require different levels, amount & types of evidence in order to establish them. Some simple claims will require minimal evidence & some simple claims will require substantial evidence. Likewise, some unlikely or complex claims will require simple evidence & some will require substantial evidence. The point here is that there is no fixed relationship between a claim and the evidence required to establish it. Each individual claim needs to be assessed & the evidence required to establish it worked out as appropriate. i.e. Claims require sufficient evidence - & what is sufficient needs to be determined independently from the nature of the claim.

Yes, we blurred the footage due to not wanting the child on camera but the whispering starts as she's sleeping and it wakes her up. She tries speaking but the voice kinda talks over her.

We did use the ghost tube app in a few investigations last year. Our results were interesting but we like the standard spirit box better. We might bring it out in future investigations though!

We did use Google Translate but we didn't get any responses. We might try that second suggestion. That sounds interesting!
