These can help expediate the mixing process, find a good sound that each band member enjoys, and also teach you tips and tricks for properly EQ-ing and mixing instruments on your own. This can cut down sound check and mixing times tremendously! I will also demonstrate some guitar play-throughs at the end of the video. Please listen with headphones to catch the differences clearly.
This is not the only option, with the CQ-18T, you can also setup complete channels where they are fully flat with no coloring and you employ your own Eq, compressor, gates through the mixer interface. But if you are someone like me who is still learning and grasping wear each instrument sonically falls in a mix this can help guide you and teach you some tricks to becoming a better live or studio sound mixer!
