A factory fresh restoration for me thanks Henry. To get it looking concours is extremely difficult. I guess it depends on whether you intend to use it or exhibit it.

Distressed or patina, the latter being posher. In which case Henry, if we were to be posh about it, could we use the term ‘distressed patina’ for rust? Could be handy when trying to sell and keep the haggle high. ‘Rust mate, nooo! That’s a lovely bit of distressed patina that is. Adds value if anything’ ☺️

Sorry to be a bit pedantic but the dictionary definition of patina is: "a green or brown film on the surface of bronze or similar metals, produced by oxidation over a long period". On iron and steel it's just rust!

Hi Henry I work as a paramedic for Yorkshire Ambulance Service and would like it if you and the boys would come to god’s country for a ride out with some of our employees. There’s a lot of us across the country who ride. You are certainly a down to earth break from the difficult times we go through and inspiration to me and some of my riding friends and would love to spend the day pootling with you boys.
