You should keep the gears/chain facing the opposite direction of your vehicle on the first bike. Also usually you are supposed to alternate directions from bike to bike on most racks. Really helpful video.

Nice video, thank you. But it is better to alternate the direction of the bikes when mounted on the rack.

Agreed you should alternate them and you put the heaviest one on first but nice video thank you

Thank you for posting this video. I accidentally twisted the knob too far out, the nut/locker assembly came off the end, and I couldn't figure out which way to reassemble it. Thankfully you made it super clear how it looks at 2:11 so I could see it. Cheers!

Thanks for the awesome review, I paused it like 10 times in the middle to deduce the model number! I was able to zero in the Allen Sports 4-Bike Hitch Racks for 2 in. Hitch (premier locking) from Amazon.

That’s not premiere because it has fabric straps. Deluxe locking has the straps, which do break down and you can’t just replace the strap because it is integrated into the clamps

Thanks for the review, do any of the bikes particularly the inner one get in contact with the car Frame (causing scratches on the car body), I faced a problem with a different make and model and now my car needs a paint job

It was a hook for garden tools, I just used for the bike rack.
