Man, this is the video I found when I was 12. Now I’m 18 and so grateful I found this video when I did because I grew up on Allen’s songs and they’ve helped me get through some things while growing up. Allen is an amazing artist and I wish more people knew about him :’)

How foolish by to think that nobody was bold enough to cover this song besides myself. I was a little kid maybe about 6 or 7 when I heard this song. It was on one of my brother's CDs and it was one of the songs I would play over and over. The lyrics and sound just captivated me as a child. I bet I could honestly say this is one of the first songs I've ever come to like. One of my true favs. Hearing this version just brings me chills though. Serious skills.

I found this song in the absolute depths of my addiction. I hadn't heard the original and I loved this song so much. This trumps the original in so many ways. Maybe it's just a love for soul but now three years clean this song still inspires me in so many ways. the voice crack adds to the proof that he is incredible. Most singers would try to cover it up or redo the recording and not post it. When you embrace your voice with all it's imperfections and emotions, is when you truly are an artist in my opinion. I've seen him in concert and he is amazing live! much love and respect for this artist !

This is one of the best covers of this song, he made it his own and that voice?! he is a masterful singer, and his singing is blue eyed soul....I was moved.......I found this by searching for the original, and this video showed up....i am subscribing

He is so underrated, utilized, a brilliant talent with out commercialism backing his immense talent, we the music loving ppl of the world are tired of heavily funded "artists and their auto tune gingles being shoveled down our throats. He deserves, hell no, we deserve to have this mans contribution mainstreamed across the globe. A blessing of beauty we desperately need today

I can’t think of many vocalists outside of maybe Beyoncé that have such effortless command of their vibrato through their entire range. It’s really fun to listen to.
