The history, culture, and language of this tribe should be embraced, protected, and shared to others to show who these people are. Also this tribe has my absolute respect

I only recently found this youtube channel but I really appreciate that these resources are readily available. I'm always looking to learn more about people's cultures. I'll spread this around.

Alabama Coushatta tribe is a treasured part of Texas heritage!!

I'm still watching...and taking notes. BUT...this is completely awesome! The small amount of research I've done on my husband's family tells me that part of his family was in The Runaway Scrape. I am told, by others in my family who have done extensive research, that we have Alabama-Coushatta in our line. (allegedly, my great-grandmother was half) How interesting >might< it be ... that way back yonder in time...my family helped my husband's family? ...and here we are today...married and raising 7 children with 10 grandchildren so far.
