How to conjugate the verb ALLER (to go) Present tense. Aller is the only fully irregular verb ending in ER. We use it to:
- Form the "futur proche"
- Ask "Comment allez-vous?"
- Describe where we are going when followed by the prepositions à, au, en, à la, aux, and chez.

Hi dyane, thank you so much for this video. At 3:09 you give an example for aller à quelqu'un and I noticed it has a 'te' there instead of 'tu' because I thought tu means you. I also tried to make the following sentences, 1. Cette robe me vais très bien 2. Ces chaussures vous allez bien

Tu becomes Te when it's a Direct Object Pronoun ;) I have a few videos on the subject on my channel, you should check them out :) For your sentence, the verb should be conjugated with the subject, not with the direct object pronouns (me and vous) 1. Cette robe me va très bien 2. Ces chaussures vous vont bien I hope it helps :)

Dear Prof, might I trouble you for a question ? The test 1.21 said, “I’m going to the store.” Could I say : Je vais au magazine or Je vais aller au magazine . The solution is just the first !! The second is a mistake ? Thank you

Et madame about "Allez à l'école", Aller + à is used for city , and chez refers to a person, buisness and a store, so for écola, is it refers here as a store or for any building like hospital also we could use Aller+à? Please help

Bonjour Dylane, I've got quite confused with "aller" and "être", on the conjugation ebook page 48, ex. 1.27. No 15: Vous _____ à pied. why the answer is "être" not "aller", On page 37, I learned this expression: Aller à pied (to go on foot). Looking forward to your reply. Thank you in advance.

Yolanda it could be both, actually. If you say Je suis à pied, you just highlight the fact that you are not driving. I will add aller to the solutions with Être :)

I have just completed this lesson and I don’t understand why you say “Vous allez à la pharmacie” rather than “Vous allez chez la pharmacie” since it is a business. Can you please explain why to me so I understand better? Thank you!

Good question Jane! Think of it as a business run by one person for chez - Chez le fleuriste - Chez le dentiste - Chez le docteur - etc. I will add a note in the book about that :)
