I am *SOOOO* very thankful your mom is able to be close enough to be there when you need someone, like times like this. I'm 47 and actually live with my mom so SHE can help ME. I find it ironic.. we're suppose to be taking care of our parents and they're still taking care of us. Now I can't drive due to Cervicalcranial Instability, Chiari, severe cervical disk degeneration, and a plethora of other issues. Mom and I write our doc appointments on the calendar to keep from overlapping each other. Caretakers just don't get enough credit if you ask me💜💟

I hear you Vicky. It stinks that we have our entire lives wrapped up in medical appointments, medications, etc. etc., but the alternative is worse. It is exhausting and every once in a while we need a push or a reminder from someone who understands. That's what I get out of watching Jaquie's videos too-motivation and a sense that I am not the only one dealing with all these issues and to keep pushing along. Hang in there, girl. If you need a virtual hug or pat on the back, comment here because I think Jaquie's community is not only so supportive of her, but of each other. It's lovely and heartfelt. Take care! xo

hey jaquie! this is my first time commenting, and i wanted to thank you for how helpful your videos have been to fellow chronic pain warriors. my mom and i struggle with fibromyalgia on a daily basis, and as a 20 year old, we're trying to hold off on diagnosing my condition as long as possible for insurance pre-existing condition purposes. i know your struggle of feeling like you've got the body of an 85 year old trapped in a 21 year old body! maybe we're just old souls. :^) i also wanted to wish you luck on starting your communications degree next spring. as a fellow communications scholar, it's awesome to see interest in the field! you're going to absolutely love it. keep us posted on what you'll be learning! i'm so excited for you. i've learned so much about other chronic illnesses from watching your vlogs and videos. keep doing what you're doing, jaquie! and give a big kiss to harlow for me :")

Hi Jaquie! I just want to say you are truly an inspiration for those who have chronic illness and even to those who don't. You are so detailed in your videos and explain things so well. I know you have been having some bumps along the way recently but I pray that God gives you wisdom and knowledge as well as the doctors. You are unique and a beautiful child of God inside and out. Life is challenging, but God's grace and love is never ending. I get really bad migraines and can not function for the entire day and it can last a few days sometimes. I have had them once a week, twice a month and sometimes just once. I find sometimes in my hardest moments even when I'm throwing up from the nausea it causes that God gives me the strength to get through and even puts on my heart people to pray for that day. When we are weak he is strong. I praise Him on the good days and praise His Holy name on the bad days. I am so happy for you that you got your wonderful (and really pretty looking) wheel chair. You are also blessed with such a wonderful dog who loves you so much as well as a husband who adores you. Some people struggle in life just to find people in their life that care the way your family and friends care for you. I have three kids (two teens) and I talk to them about you all the time as well as to my husband and friends. You are such a lovely, smart and talented young lady. Stay strong, keep praying and remember every day in life we have a purpose by our Heavenly Father. God knew you before you were created in your mother's womb, he know's how many hairs are on your head. He knows the beginning from the end. Continue to trust in the Lord God with all your heart, lean not on your understanding but let him guide your path. Lord God I come to you in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. Father I God I enter into your courts with praise and thanks giving. Oh Father God how truly good you are. Through the good times and the bad you are there. You know Jaquie's heart and her struggles. Father God I place Jaquie before your alter Lord God. I pray Father God that you pour out your love and peace upon her in Jesus mighty name. I pray Lord God that her toe be healed and that the medication to not give her bad reactions or to find one that will be better on her body. Strengthen her physically, mentally and emotionally Lord God. I pray for her marriage. Continue to bless it Lord God. May they continue to grow in their love and may they be over comers. Lord God put out your Holy spirits upon her. May your spirit fill her, teach her and bring her to a growing knowledge of you daily. May she read from your word when she needs strength and contour to talk to you in her quiet times. I thank you for Jaquie. I thank you for her kind heart, I thank you that she has been helping thousands upon thousands and more to encourage and give knowledge to. Thank you for her strength and humility and her complete honesty. Lord I pray for healing in her body Lord God. I'm Jesus name I pray Amen. Have a wonderful day and God bless you! Mary

Hi Jaquie! Have been watching you for a while now and let me tell you - you are amazing! Real soldier! I really admire you for your spirit! Well done and keep it up! I have no chronic illnesses or anything like that but i have a very hectic job when i need to travel for work twice a week every week all over Europe (i live in the UK), catching silly o'clock flights at 7am, getting up at 3am and doing 12 hour long days and 14-15 hour long ones on the travel day. And let me tell you... on the weekend i just turn into a potato and watch youtube all day... And when i see you doing all those things and pushing through all the struggles you have - i realise how much i pity myself and how much time spend being a lazy ass frankly. So you are such and inspiration - thanks so much for that! Stay strong! And Harlow omg! Such a sweet dog! I wish i could have a dog - but i can't with all that travel for now. Give her a little boop on the cute nose from me! Cheers! PS: I seem to never see your videos on my feed - i need to specifically go to your channel page - is that right? Or is it not working just for me? Take care, Jaquie x And hope your allergies stop and you find a good replacement for the antibiotic.

Hi sweet girl, I hope today is a better day for you. I know how scary anaphylactic allergies can be and when it comes to meds, you never know if you are allergic until you take it. At least with foods, you can avoid them. With meds, you take them because you need them, but I literally hold my breath whenever I start a new one. Even ones I took in the past, have been known to present symptoms. You are very right... it isn't fair, but you are such a strong person, Jaquie. You got this, even if it stinks and isn't fair. Love ya and thank you for sharing your journey, your lives and your pup! She is such a blessing - I am considering getting one myself, especially since I'm a single mom and my daughter will be moving out in a year or so. Right now I manage because she does a fair bit around here that I cannot do. I go back and forth on whether I should consider getting one though, because I do not have any life-threatening illnesses (other than allergies) and I feel guilty even considering taking a specially trained dog away from someone who has more dire health issues. I guess there's no harm in looking into it though. xoxox Heather🇨🇦

Thanks for the reply, Jaquie. My issues are mainly mobility related. I have horrific 24/7 365 chronic pain from a spine/spinal cord injury. Though I can walk, my weak leg can give out on me and I do fall. Whenever I go anywhere that requires more than 5 minutes of walking, I use either my walker or a wheelchair instead of just a cane. I get severe (similar to sciatica) 'zings' in my leg and foot that if I'm standing I will definitely fall. I'm only able to be upright for about 2 hours at a time before I need to get horizontal. It is a delicate dance between doing what I can vs doing that one minute too much and paying for it for the next week. I know you understand how that is! Take care, Jaquie and thanks for the encouragement of looking into a service dog.

Omg Jaquie!! You scared me!! I could tell you were scared crapless as well. Wow, yeah, no more of that med!! I can't tolerate it either, but I only vomit, not react like you did. Thank goodness you were with it enough you could stop it!! And also it's awesome your mom is so close now. I really hope you and your Dr can figure out what's going on. I'm catching up on your vlogs and every one seems to have something go wrong health wise(more than your "normal" day to day you usually share). Sending you lots of hugs and I'm thinking about you!! Keep on keeping on girl.

Thank you so much for you're amazing, inspiring content. It really helps me to deal with my EDS, metabolic disease and gastroparesis. So thank you so much! I was wondering if you got any tips and suggestions for me because I probably get a NJ tube soon. What can I expect and what are good tricks? Ps. Keep doing what you're doing because you're really special!♡

Youre so strong Jaquie!!! Im so proud of you! You are not out of options and God is the Great Comforter and healer. He is using you to educate, encourage, and empower so many people that are in His Kingdom and not. People who havent learned His love and Goodness are seeing that Light through you and it is incredibly beautiful. The world of sin and darkness may have given you your chronic illnesses, but Jesus is using them to make paths in the darkness and streams in the wasteland. Dont be discouraged! Your light is brighter than you know. And the more cracks there are in a person, the more God's light can shine through ♡ Love ya sister!!!

I am SO SO sorry for your bad reaction to the MRSA meds. I hope the Doctor is able to find a med that works for you and gets rid of the MRSA. My son had MRSA all over his body....he got the MRSA from the locker room showers and/or equipment when he was playing college football. The good news, it eventually went away, and he is now MRSA free. It took several years, and unfortunately I can't remember enough about it to tell you the process he went through and what meds he was given. I am praying for you Jaquie.

Hi Jaquie, one friendly suggestion, as soon as you draw up your meds, put the lid back on the bottle. Something I learned the hard way ( I hate to say TWICE!) after knocking over some very expensive meds AND permanently dying the carpet pink.
