This style of battle report is simply amazing! A small note: when Bolg was blasted he would have suffered the effect of the knocked flying rule. It means that he cannot move so he could not charge and then heroic combat. I wanted to point it out for new and old players. Blasting someone whilst mounted is soooo powerful, you are basically putting them out of game for 2 turns

Good eye! Haha we actually noticed this mistake in the editing stage so that's why we cut out the part where he was actually moved. You are the first to point out and notice he teleported 😅 Sorcerous blast is amazing, an even better trick is to blast a model into the mounted hero so they can't even resist but Ian couldn't find the right angle for that. Really enjoying these battle reports , especially the attention to detail with the little rule notes and highlighting of targets, it makes a big difference to be able to portray these things easily but efficiently too!

Out of all the channels that do battle reports, yours easily tops the list of the best ones for me. I love that it feels like I'm watching the condensed footage of a full length game with live commentary. Just like I would for sports. Also all the visuals are great! Highlighting heroes when they call heroics or simply drawing a line for a potential hurl goes a long way. Lastly the statistics at the end are so cool. This got to be so much work, but I'm glad you do it, thank you!

Really like these Battle Reports. Heroic actions; when to call them and when not are such an important element and I wondered if there could be a break out commentary around these - especially the pivotal ones - to point out the what, why, how and where of the choices each player is taking. Help the audience to learn more about how best to utilise Heroic actions in effect.

That is a really cool good army, especially with the small Fiefdoms contingent! Big fan of Bolg too, I honestly like him more then Azog, seems to do about as much for cheaper lol. Awesome batrep all up, can't wait to see more :)

OMG Charles, I’m an idiot. I’m the guy at the tournament in Portland who asked if you played in California because you looked and sounded familiar. But no. It’s because I’ve been watching and listening to you for the past month!!!! I can’t believe I didn’t make the connection then. LOL. Not only that, but I played Markus game 2 and was also oblivious to that. No wonder I lost to him 😅. Anyway, nice to have met you guys in person, even though my sleep deprived brain failed miserably to make the connection 🤣😂🤣.

You are killing it. Keep the battle reports coming!! Quick question here, does the game end the moment one of the armys gets to 25% right? So you don't need to wait to the end phase of that turn, isn't it?

Brilliant content! :p but I think in turn 6 when good won the priority and there was 1 model to evil force broken, Saruman could have casted blast trying to kill this single model and force them to pass courage tests in evil priority, instead of casting transfix.

Thanks! This would be a great strategy, but an army that’s broken begins taking courage tests at the start of their next turn, so Evil still would not have to test until the following turn. -Charles
