Too bad about the radiator repair. I've tried various umbrellas over the years, but it is so windy around here I end up taking them off before the wind does lol Can't wait to see the 170 doing her first chores!!

that looks like my buggy top, l bought mine from the Umbrella man l think l have it on my D17 and l have the old style paraseal on my WD45 but them will not take the wind so l seen other farmer run light flat irons from the two front corners down to my fenders and that worked good!!! l willbe watchin!!!!!

Glad that your 170 is in a usable condition. My 170's radiator was not in that good of shape. Not back yet. I hope the tractor holds up and works well for you.

We have had all of the radiator shops around here close dry up. Seems to be a lost craft anymore,.sad really! Man yeah Mr Pete the 170 looks amazing!! What about the muffler do you dislike? That one just burnt out? Ahhh, the buggy top!! I love it!! I am going to have to do something myself on Dad's 3000 and my 250. After.being under the canopy on the 165 cutting, I fried myself raking and baling on the 250!! My mom had had major skin cancer issues over the years, and me being redheaded it doesn't help! Look fwd to seeing some corn being planted as well Mr Pete!! My apologies for being late, getting way behind again 🤦🤦😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍

Thanks Nelson. Yes, the small radiator shops around here that I used back in the day are all gone. You can't see it but the muffler has a small hole in the bottom. So far I like the buggy top. Might put one on the 180.

Beet juice does rot according to a friend but yes much much lower rate of speed a company called rim guard is (. Supposed to be the new go to ) Just what I keep hearing ????? Very nice work on the 170😁🇺🇸😁

Your statement about "us" not physically able to do in a day like we use too, is so true! Our brains remember when we were way younger than our bodies really are. The 170 sounds good and I like the new buggy top.

I rather like that "roof" that you installed. Might be nice to have one on my Case SC. Did you buy it online or from somewhere local, like maybe Tractor Supply?

@@farmerpete I'm going out this morning and put in my last 3 acres of beans. Corn has been done for several days. I'll be all done planting (God willing). I enjoy it, but it's always good to be finished.
