It was one of my dreams as a kid to have a huge Lego Star Destroyer. The closest I got was photoshopping myself holding the set (the older model). I watched this in slow motion to really take it in how it was built. Thank you for putting in the hard, detailed work to share this experience for others to live through vicariously!

I admire your patience, it must have taken forever to build it this way. It took me about 9.5h to build the one I did for my channel. I can't imagine it taking anything less than 48h to to it this way. Impressive!!!

The Star Destroyer is my favorite ship of all time, but this set is too expensive and I have no where to put it, so this video was perfect. Thank you for taking the time to record this!

There is something very therapeutic about watching someone build Lego in stop motion. Lord knows how many hours in total it took to A) build and B) edit and finalise the whole video. However, thanks for putting this on and the end product looks immense.

Il set lego più impressionante che abbia mai visto! Le dimensioni, la quantità di pezzi, i dettagli.. Non oso immaginare il peso di un modello simile.. L'ho visto in negozio ad un prezzo per me, purtroppo, proibitivo ma vedere l'assemblaggio pezzo dopo pezzo mi ha lasciato veramente a bocca aperta! Complimenti per la solita qualità del video. I had a star destroyer set when I was younger and I learned the importance of making sure each step was correct. It was my favorite set... but I misplaced a piece or two on the internals, making the entire star destroyer unstable. It eventually collapsed under the weak support. (I could not rebuild it because back then I didn’t keep the instructions) It was a turning point in my life and probably the cause of my current depression because I can’t buy the set again because it’s ridiculously expensive.

@Gaspard Pichon-Legroux As much as I wish I could rebuild it, LEGOs were my thing over a long period of time, so I have a ridiculous amount of LEGOs, and so I have so many bins of legos and trying to find the pieces would be a really big pain and a big mess too.

I built this set a few months ago. It’s actually pretty fun to build but it was tricky to make sure everything is lined up correctly. One of my favorite sets too. But the price 🙄
