This looks like the perfect blend of technic and system building techniques coming together for a one of a kind Lego experience. The combination of functionality and aesthetics might make this the most rewarding too. I always see this set in the LEGO store at the mall, and I thought it was just a still thing, but now that I see this video, and I see how it actually moves and stuff, I wanna get it! It looks like it took a long time to build, though. And I have a lot of school work. Anyways, great LEGO set!

Did you ever get it? I really intimidated by this set but I just finished it! Me and my girlfriend work a lot so we’d only work on the set for like a couple hours a week but it was fun working on it little by little. Definitely worth it!

Different color blocks are used to help in the building process and makes it easier distinguish what part goes where in an instruction manual. Imagine if everything was grey inside, would be very easy to get lost during the build.

I just got this set and I can concur that it is quite amazing (and I haven't even finished it yet as of this typing). You know what would also be amazing? If you could really assemble it as fast as in this video. You bring it home, get it in the house, dump out all of those bags...and then, as soon as you start pouring the pieces out your arms turn into blurs as the pieces go flying together and less than an hour later you're already done. What is this guy, the Flash? HOW IS HE DOING THAT?! You would probably pass out from exhaustion afterwards but the finished model would be well worth it. Not to mention the fact that you would probably also set a new Lego builders all time speed record.
