I really thought we were about to see you allocate your completed challenges. This was a paying back your bank or credit cards….basically paying your spendings back.

Yes, I spend regularly from my short-term sinking funds so money comes in and out of those categories regularly. I just like to use savings challenges to fund them. (I'm addicted to using savings challenges!) LOL. For my long-term categories that money stays in there until my annual bill comes due or until I need the money. For example, my home maintenance/repair/upgrade category in my long-term savings I don't regularly take from that fund unless a more expensive bill arises or we decided to do some kind of upgrade to the home. For example, we recently had some issues come up with our well (we live on an acreage so our water comes from a well) and that bill was pretty hefty so I will need to unfortunately take out of that category next month but that is why I'm putting money in that category to cover expenses like this one. Also we are saving for things like month ahead, boat and vacation so that all stays in their categories until a situation arises and they are needed. I always love your honesty Lisa!
