Have had spells of taking allipurinol but had to stop cos of immediately having a flare up. The gout is so bad and so frequent now I have no choice but to stick with allipurinol now and weather the storm

You didn't mention edema. I experienced edema is both over extremities which resolved when I stopped allourinol

Hello doctor when i take allopurinol my side effect is chest burning breathing problem. Should i continue to take allopurinol?

I am taking allopurinol 100mg per day for almost a year, but 3 months ago I got acid reflux on daily basis. Could that be connected with allopurinol? I mean for 7 months I had no side effects on allopurinol, bit can that sudenly cause heartburn? Please help

I've been on Allopurinol for the past month. It's not the Allopurinol that's giving me side-effects, it's the Colchicine along with it that's messing me up
