Last year my family and I grew carrots. The dirt was too dense so they didn't grow very large, but I was completely surprised at how much more flavorful they were than store bought carrots. They were sweeter and more aromatic. Store bought will forever be bland and cheap to me. Beautiful yield, man. They must be delicious!

Dan, Have you ever tried making a 2 pc planter for those show carrots? Just like a plaster mold, you'd remove the bands to open it so you'd never break a tap root off. You'd have to open and harvest all so maybe a Pvc pipe not a big barrel. Beautiful carrots. Good luck at the show, Elaine

Those long ones are absolutely amazing!

Idk how you do that! Of the hundreds of carrot seeds I've sown over the years, I've gotten about 10 carrots out of them, the largest a little bigger than a pencil. Carrots are, by far, the most difficult thing I've ever tried to grow.
