On a spiritual path, we start a process of confronting the ideas and ways that we describe ourselves. That includes the beliefs that we have about ourselves. Going through these layers of beliefs can be difficult and painful because we see identities that we hold that can be so negative and even so, when we release these belief systems, it feels like we are losing a part of us. But through this process, unraveling the layers of false beliefs, we are allowing our true, most real self to shine through. We are making space for our soul to shine through!
