Learned about the mechanical properties. Another Pros for alloy wheels are when air passes through the front & rear wheels were the front disc brake unit & rear disc brake unit(if equipped) rear drum brake unit wont get over heated while braking because the air itself cools the units. That is why i had chosen Wagon-R Stingray over the regular Wagon-R.

Your videos are really nice. I have a swift dzire with company fitted 14 inch steel wheel. Planning to upsize for 15 inch alloy wheel. Can i upsize tyre size without changing the existing steel wheel. Or can i change it to 15 inch alloy wheel along with the new tyre. What will the advantages and disadvantages. Can you make a video on upsizing and downsizing of wheels to cover the above questions? Awaiting for the video.

As explained the major disadvantage is the durability due to heavy impact on bad roads which is common in India . Due to the impact ..alloy wheel bends which gives wobbling which gives need to change tyres by mistake instead of wheels . So it's a tricky situation only by having a car appearance. No assurance in fuel economy or suspension . It's just for cosmetic appearances . Best to go for a car with inbuilt best wheels .cosmetic changes cost later lot .

One doubt u mentioned that above 16 inch steel wheel is not suitable. But heavy vehicles use steel wheel with much larger diameter.

If the Aluminum alloy is broken or crack, As you said its not possible to repair. But It there is any little dent or bend in an alloy will, Is possible to repair. Same cost go higher side. For normal Indian make car not preferred for Repair. But Hi-end cars like BMW, Benz, Volvo has been repairing. It cost around 10 to 12K in Maharashtra. New Product cost is around 35-57K plus GST as per my experience in Hi end cars.

2℅ carbon will make steel brittle and normally it is used below 0.4℅ so that it can be made in different shapes.

It is just spare wheel. You have to replace the main wheel after issue fixed at the earliest.
