I love Brie, this is a Decadent way to use the flavors you used the cedar plank toasted before was a very cool idea, cranberries my goodness Chef love that!! 👍🏾✌🏾🙏🏾

Well, the green bean casserole was a hit as previously mentioned. I will be doing this for Christmas for appetizers .... might need to do 4 tho for good measure 😉. Oh, and will also do a double batch of the green bean casserole this time, man that was good.

Great recipe Tom. I can't wait to try this at Christmas this year. Nice change of pace from the apricot/pecan or jalapeño ones that we did when we cooked with Stephen Raichlen. I always get complements when I cook those but this recipe should blow them away.

It's 7 am on a Saturday and all I want is THIS! All I need is the Brie, Proscuitto, and whole cranberries the rest is set! Damn it Tom, have a heart! The store doesn't even open for another two hours! (just checked, need smoking wood)

@@allthingsbbq Since I live in GA it will take me 14 hours, if I left now, to reach you. Which means you will be closed. So I would have to wait till Monday (because you're closed on Sunday) to make it into the shop. Then I will have to hop foot it back to GA to cook everything....... wait.....I'll just borrow a smoker when I get there. Looks like we are having the same thing again folks but, I will spatchcock a chicken to roast up with the brie! If I'm coming out to cook we are gonna eat well. (you guys provide the wine) Plus I tick off a bucket list item! Win, Win for me! (I could just order stuff over the internet but, it won't be nearly as much fun)

1st time here, and although the ingredients list made me think of the phrase "gilding the lily," I have to revise my thoughts and say "I'm going to try this!" As for pairing, to deal with the wealth of flavors and aromas, I'm thinking maybe a Sauternes, something from Alsace, or when flush with cash, a Montrachet...? Ideas? Bon apetit from northern, rural Japan!

Never seen it with brie, here in Europe we use goatcheese wrapped in prosciutto but I am gonna try your version next year. You found a solution for the burned prosciutto. We normally make it in the oven which burns the prosciutto before the cheese is warm.

Thank you for this recipe, I will try this as an appetizer for Christmas. It’s this brie or camembert? It looks like the wheels of camembert I can get in the grocery store, while brie is sold in triangles. Hope to hear from you, and thanks again!

Both Brie and Camembert are sold in wheels. Camembert is also often baked, so there’s no reason it shouldn’t work like this as well.

Hello sir, I have does this type of recipe now 4 times. Every time now the Brie blows out from the edge. How do you keep that from happening? Do you use a certain type of Brie that has a thicker rind?

Chef, I know this is flat heresy to say on this channel, but for those of us without a smoker can this result (minus smoke) be achieved in an oven? I’m thinking 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes should do it. What’s your opinion?
