FYI the SDPN allan wash show had one of his tax accountants come on the show to talk about taxes on athletes.. its quite intriguing.. I believe they talk not just NHL, he talked briefly on NBA and also Ohtani's deal..

Shooting requires pushing down with your leg to anchor you, if your knee is screwed, that may hurt a lot.

Makes no sense if he reported tendinitis months ago all the medical staff would do is tell him he needs a weeks rest to bring down inflammation so there’s 2 possibilities: 1. Tried to play through it & didn’t listen to doctors advice or under reported his symptoms till it was too late for rest be effective because he wanted to improve point #’s and up contract $$$ or after that needing to end narrative his contracts undeserved 2. The medical staff or coaches are incompetent & pushed him to play through inflammation in his knee that consequently got worse decreasing his playoff productivity

Petterson bulked up? They have him at 176lbs. Although obviously the knee injury hampered him, I think he could definitely add a few more pounds

Guentzel is going to be 30 and is not a lights out scorer... both JT miller and Pettersson score more than him.. and they are centers and play defensively. And you want to pay a lower scoring winger who is also old more than JT miller. I'd rather keep Lindholm at 30 and a centre for 8 or 9 .. then petey or miller can play wing.
