You are a newly arrived transfer student at Dusktooth College, the school of the “evil” sorcerers. As you wake up, you find that news of your powers have spread around the school, and a fellow student has shown up to your room with interest in their eyes.

As someone who only started drawing and doing art during the later part of high school, the part about having peers that have been doing what you’re doing since they’ve been a small child and you being behind really hit close to home. It can feel hopeless or that you’ll never catch up at first, but it’s never too late to start learning what you want to learn, be they artistic or arcane pursuits. Not sure what she’s going on about with “having potential” though. Maybe I just work hard.

And btw just a thought this video is like an audible version of the comics/mangas i normally read, where an academy or guild have a rank system in which the high rank individuals with higher ranks are super bossy and snobby to the ones with lower ranks, regardless of talent
