Almost 1 month update for Diamond Protech Glass coating - Going STRONG

Жыл бұрынDiamond Protech Glass coating applied to the whole windshield almost 1 month ago after a short test. It was so awesome I decided to end my 4 way test and just coat the whole windshield. After 1 month it’s going strong. Heading into winter and freezing conditions. Garage kept car so not sure how much I’ll get to test frost on the windshield. I guess I could keep it out 1 day.

I found this product lasts a very long time. However, it takes high speeds to make the beads leave the glass. I guess it’s worth the tradeoff.

I keep mine “activated” with a VERY low speed break point using Optimum Glass Clean and Protect spray once every week or two. I’ll normally rinseless wash the car and then every 1 or 2 weeks I’ll finish cleaning the windshield with the Optimum stuff. After that my water normally breaks loose around 35Mph or so with a decent rain.

@@MichaelAbernathy I see, interesting. I was always wondering if it could be topped with a slicker sealant without ill effects. Good to know.
